Surya has very little shields - you can take them out with an AR. The Surya is an armor tank. What you are seeing is the faster armor repping over shield repping. Once the armor repper kicks in it's very hard to sustain DPS to keep the HP falling...

I don't think they should just poof disappear when you die, but they shouldn't go off when you suicide, either. They should just stay put till you set them off with a 2-3 placement limit like with nanohives.. Though that needs to be the final ver...

There's a big focus on shield tanking in this build due to a lack of energy weaponry. Once there are more energy weapons on the field ripping 400 HP shields off like they're 50hp, the extra armor of the A-series suits will be much more worth it.

I don't think your should be able to walk very fast while shooting the AR. While firing your walk speed shou8ld be -60% and you shouldn't be able to jump or strafe at all. That's dangerous, bad gun safety isn't my idea of fun.
