I thought of laser rifle/assault rifle. The LR would cover long to medium range while the AR would cover short to medium range. There are a ton of different combinations, and I think something able to use them would be fun.

I like the idea of greater versatility with a tradeoff. I felt that it would be too powerful on any other suit, and the heavy suit has an obvious tradeoff. If it is too weak, speed and health could be tweaked anyways.

What about a heavy suit that trades its sidearm and heavy weapon slots for two light weapon slots? Increased versatility, at the cost of the ability to carry heavy weapons.
