The only reason that people want a respec is because they skilled into an OP weapon, like the flaylock, and realize that they can no longer use it under the current conditions.
When the MD gets rebalanced, you are then going to see ANOTHER request for a respec.
You had your moments of glory with dual flaylocks and cheap kills with it. Now I laugh at all of you who lost those skill points.

I'd like to remove all points from:

Level 5 Assault Rifle Operation
Level 3 Assault Rifle Proficiency
Level 4 Assault Rifle Sharpshooter
Level 4 Shield Regulation
Level 3 Shield Recharging

These skills no longer appeal to me as a dedicated HMG / FG heavy who's aiming to get back into piloting.

I'm not sure how much SP that is, but it's literally dead weight.

The SP system does not evolve with you as a player, rather it limits you by forcing you to stick to old playstyles or to ignore the SP you harvested in the first place.

There is no consequence or weight to your decision past the level of boredom it may or may not instill in you.

But you just suck it up and grind on. There's a chance you might trick us and spec into FOTM.

No respecs unless its in the interests of the game. In other words - if the skill tree is drastically altered to the point it would be simpler to start again from scratch.
I've made mistakes, I thought a logi would be a good fit for a DS pilot. Then they leaked the skills for the Pilot suits. Hell, I had no idea about the background for the races so had no idea about the missing weapons or vehicles. Last estimate I spent nearly 2.5 mil SP for the wrong reasons. I regret my naivety when I started but it gives me options as well.
I agree in principle of partial respecs into options currently denied to us so far. But that isn't up to us now is it?

Anyway, I heard they would respec when the new gear/vehicles are available. Which if true is very generous but in the meantime I don't expect it, so I carry on. Even using the crappy Militia Heavy suits for my alt till his suit arrives from the tailors

In short, be grateful for the choice you have, but live with the choices you make. That's life I'm afraid

Remember keep signing but it will take some time to get your names on the list.

And even longer to clean up the double-signs and the significant collection of people who have spoken AGAINST the petition and still had their names added.
