I have a dream... It is a dream deeply rooted in the Logibro dream.
I have a dream, that one day amongst the constructs of Ashlands, waves of heavies and assaults will be trailed by golden lines of life saving armor repair, standing in the glow of restocking nanohives reaching out and crushing the foe before them. I have a dream.
I have a dream. that downed bluedots will not be afraid or too impatient to wait for the aide of a nanite injector and even stay beside their fellow clone for supplemental armor repair. I have a dream.
I have a dream, that one day, men will not be judged by their KDR but by the true benefit they offer their team, I have a dream today!
I have a dream, that one day, from sweltering plains of Skim Junction to the frozen peaks of Manus, men and women will work together and aid one another to their fullest for the benefit of all above and beyond their own self interest, I have a dream.
I have a dream, that one day, even right there in the fields of Line Harvest little blue dots, and little green dots, will join hands as sisters and brothers in overcoming the overwhelming odds of reddot oppression to work in the full spirit of brotherhood, I HAVE A DREAM TODAY!

Arunis Gen wrote:An interesting read. However I have a change for the Drop Uplink bit. I'd recommend getting a Scout suit with Stamina/Recover modules and an uplink for increased mobility. You can get to a location quicker as well as have less of a signature for your enemies to locate. There were many times I've gone behind enemy lines unnoticed, dropped an uplink, and stealthed to an objective and ninja-capped it. Doing just that is a extremely large help for your team as it distracts the enemy and gives your team a forward operating base to work from.
Many people, I think, don't realize the utility the logistics dropsuit can bring to the field. While it may not be for everyone, it can be a force multiplier by supplying ammo, repairing, and reviving. If I can repair my team with my repair tool then that means they can use that low slot for something more useful. If I can give them ammo then they can use that one equipment slot used for nanohives for an injector in case I happen to go down.
While I don't want to sound snobby or anything but I'd like to think that I'm a pretty deadly shooter. A combat medic in a true sense of form I suppose? The only thing I wish for is that people would be selfless and carry nano injectors. Times that i've been down there have been many blue dots near me yet none of them had an injector. Ah well.
I'm about 30 days noob. Never played in an FPS or MMOs before. I was seeing so much spawn camping, I tried to devise a way around it. I stumbled into what you are talking about. I didn't want to go public with it because it has been amazingly effective for team wins (believing it's my influence...?). I actually found myself on the top of leader boards last weekend. You hit it about the scout and uplink fit. I usually make the first spawn in with scout, and expect to get killed early. However, if I can achieve my goals (keeping them secret), then I can sometimes hack their supply depot or go to my own and re-fit as a logi and continue on without dying as a poorly armed scout. My K/D is usually something like 0/5, but I've been really amassing points. Also, the stamina thing you mentioned. I swear there is some kind of flying mode. This weekend, I was sprinting and all of a sudden my character was skimming along without influence of terrain, as if my feet were above the ground and I was just flying like Peter Pan. Is that related to me adding the stamina biotic thingy?

Overall a good read, but I like to point out some things about the mass driver. Its pretty effective up close after some trial. Also as a support role, this is a direct bump to your dps output, since most times you will be useing your tools not your weapon, but when you do your damage will be devastating. That being said, my weapons are the assualt rifle and the mass driver. I do have a lazer build for the giggles, but that is for solo only. |

Depends on the Mass Driver. You probably can get away with CQC with the standard but Assault? Unless you flux them, run if you can because you will most likely die if you don't. |

Howdy healers, Like to put my 2 isklets here. In closed beta I ran a logi fit for a while and loved it (played as Shari Lannister) One thing id like to point out is some folks thinks that logi isn't that needed i say your about to be completely wrong with PC coming out. Average cost of a clone will cost a corp 500k isk. Minimum to attack i believe (might be wrong) is 150 clones@500k each= alot of isk!
Having a logi is going to be even more important especailly with pc. Will save the corp milions.
Thats all i got to say about that and i do enjoy repping from time to time. |

I'm sorry I have been away. New daughter was born - long and tall nordic viking girl. Anyway, looking forward to the new build and testing out the new skills. Your input will be invaluable concerning the new weapons and tweaks made to the standard weapons. The new suits present a challenge as there is no way to skill into all of them at the moment... but soooo excited!
New logi build - Shield tank
4 complex shields 3 complex regulators -75% shield recharge delay and one complex armor repper. On a Vk1 it is over 200,000 isk and speedy as hell. You must constantly find cover to recharge, so you have quick skimishes then back off and then run back again - fun times
Also if you armor tank use a VK1 to keep some of your speed. |

Great guide, I plan on following it. However, could someone please explain what this line means:
"Your first build is 2 perishable lvl. 1 or greater Logi"
Thanks in advance. |

It's a temporary and throw-away design. A suit you EXPECT to die in a lot. Also consideration for a fall-back suit to gather ISK since Logis can be mad-expensive with all our equipment and modules.
Teir1 is a good place to get by on and still make ISK with good profit margin. It also forces you to play smarter and more conservative which is a good thing to learn in the long-run if you're gonna be a true logi. |
