Why aren't we talking about this more? Legion obviously flopped..dust on PS3 is barely alive the only real chance we have is on ps4/PC..I'd like it on ps4 then I could play it on my vita..Rat its time to stop leaving us in the dark...you've done an amazing job so far so why not tell us your plans for a port or do you not have any plans to port it? I'm one of the oldest players here and I'm not ready to give up on dust but I'm way more than ready to give up on the ps3
Hell I'd even go for Xbox one over PS3...

I wanted to buy a os4 but said No. I'll go for Xbox one and it better release for it too. If Dust relases and is great for PC then xbox one and ps4 deserve it. :D

If they're simply going to port Dust 514 to the PS4/PC I'll be extremely disappointed. I'd rather Dust 514 in it's current iteration stay on the PS3.
I want legion to happen (on PC or PS4 I'm not to fussed). A move to a new platform is the perfect opportunity to rebuild the game from the ground up and finally fulfill CCP's original vision of what Dust 514 should have been. |

A PC port has been in progress for well over a year now.
We haven't heard **** about it, but it's what we've got.
The last time a dev said anything about PS4, they said they have no plans to port to a console, because PC is easier to develop on.

Xbox one is likely the last thing CCP would consider developing on. When they originally released Dust, they were looking at the Xbox 360, but microsoft would only do it if it was on their servers, which will never happen.

I agree and personally would like to see Dust 514 on PS4, but.......
There's a lot of core code that needs to be fixed/euthanized before that makes any sense at all - porting a highly polished turd is self-destructive decision-making.
So what i want to know is not what platform we're moving to, but if the old problems that have ailed Dust from the beginning have been fixed in any extant in-house version of the game. Failing that, i'd like to know if there is any plan to fix them at all.

It was old before it was even sold to the public
but its still a few dozen steps up from the ps3
hell, they could port it to the Wii U and still have more of that sweet, delicious RAM and processing power for new content |
