A question I have, about large turrets, are there any ideas in the works to fix the issues with rail turret firing?
A lot of people complain about the damage they do. On the opposite end of that argument, there are times when the rail gun fails to fire, or if it does, there are times that no damage is received. It can be very frustrating as a tanker. |

- Assault suits will be brought back to snuff (better racial) - Weapons like PLC, Laser,bolt & Ion pistol, AR will be "balanced" and potentially the new-old FoTM - Either work with balance on Swarms/forge guns or keep current AV and raise the price of "proto" tanks significantly. Either way needs to be a little more incentive for tankers to not feel like they are uber jesus with <500k ISK tanks. ADS may suffer from swarms/forge buffs, so ISK increase on tanks seems to be the way. - More gear choice options with the LP store for missing variants. +- The more reason you give vets to run FW the better and has the highest ISK sink potential. Helps keep less pubs being stomped. Would love for FW to be the go to challenge arena. - New Officer weapons would be neat, wishful thinking perhaps introducing them with an Event (every 50kills with specific weapons yield officer, 20 kills for harder to use weapons, i.e. Nova Knife/ PLC. And Warpoints for Swarms) +- Lol, people surely would be excited to see shotgun, scrambler, laser, nova knife, PLC all being spammed. Not much changes from the current shotty and scrambler rifle spam anyway. -As an interim while balancing unused weapons and since numbers seem to be CCP Dev focus, make events for bonus isk/sp for uncommonly used weapons. A PLC event would be hysterical!!
3.) PC improvements - Clone packs to be cheaper, or same price with option to stack up to 2 clone packs. - Further anti-lock feature for districts in PC, if match does not fill past ~6 participants while deploying in warbage, match will be terminated with no refund (Dunno if this is possible with coding). The more people required to district lock = less district locking, while still leaving potential to field battles effectively against corps that are spammed with clone packs across their districts (More logistical challege?). This however doesn't work if clone packs are dropped to a much cheaper price. -Passive ISK gain needs to remain for new PC corps entering the realm - Old chromosome corporate ISK contracts for matches needs a come back.

I send my buddy 5 proto gallente suits, he gives me back 5 equivalent Amarr suits. You (CCP) don't need to do anything else on your end. We can set our own terms, no guarantees, no returns, caveat emptor, dude! Don't trade with anyone you don't trust.
This guy has it figured out this would go a long way to keep players going! I don't know anything about it but it doesn't seem it would be that hard to implement.

Lol it's always funny to hear and see devs get upset when people say dust is dead, I guess that's their way of feeling like dusties did at fanfest upon seeing legion. Ccp really wants the community to keep using boosters and at the same time not use aurum to buy boosters??? Unless ccp plans on giving out 30 day boosters for being in thr newsletter it ain't going to happen. Sucks to see console gamers be treated this way, but it's just in good business. Ccp learn from your mistakes, good thing this isn't a subscription game or else they'd fire half their team again. |

Would it be possible and/or likely to ever be able to at least sell our useless salvage to the current, non-player market? I am gathering quite a pile of gear that I will never use much less skill into. It would be nice to be able to liquidate these items even if it's at, say, half the regular isk price. |

thanks for introducing yourself. Considering that the game is 1 year old now, do you personally think that Dust is still going to be around in 12 months from now? There's no need to make promises here, just try not to get everyone's hopes up.
P.S.: I don't envy you. I respect you for stepping up to a job nobody else wants to do, but as far as I'm aware a sinking ship will sink irregardless of how likable the captain is. |

Please, clarify what the future of DUST is. I still did not find an answer in your post. How long will game be supported. What is the long term goal. Are 5 year and 10 year plans that showed up in the past still in place?
What are the long term goals for Dust on PS3? When should we expect EVE intergrated economy? PVE? More integration into EVE (such as ability to fulfill contracts issues EVE side)?
PLC, NK, Scout - before 1.8.

-When you say "The individuals on the Dev team" Can you tell more or less how much individuals. Ex. 4, 8, 12?
-About transparency it is impressive see a CCP employee saying "keep playing and donGÇÿt spend your AUR on booster" its like saying: keep playing Dust but don't ever think about wasting your money on AUR! That's rare. +1
-A very very personal opinion. The end of Dust 514 is inevitable due PS3 limitations and afterwards can't reach the goals ccp wanted for Dust 514. Saying that, makes me think ccp wants you to polish your skills as devs and that's a good thing, to be better on what you love to do, because truth is who wants to work on a dead project unless $ of course, but then its not love.
