Yeah yeah, "steal" is technically inaccurate, but hey, opinions are like bums etc. If you feel CCP was unfair in their dealings, maybe you feel that word applies.
I'm sure I spent $120+ on dust, but I'm not gonna count the whole thing, that's not reasonable. I enjoyed playing the game, and I supported them in their noble endeavor and had some extra fun in the game by contributing to the cause, win-win. But then their intentions changed, and we became cash cows. SAD FACE.
They probably got $20 bucks out of me at the end, and damn if I'm not gonna be way more trouble than I'm worth. I wouldn't even accept the money back at this point, some people were cheated out of a lot more and I would rather they had the money.
One of my friends asked me about Dust 514 because he saw me playing it through psn. I am very glad I didn't answer right away, because that was the day of the keynote. I told him later that it wasn't worth his time.
I doubt any of my real-life gamer friends are ever going to hear about Legion, which means I'm going to have to go way out of my way to cost CCP business, which is terribly inconvenient, but hey, anything less and I'm a hypocrite. |

Convinced me (with false promises) to support the continuous development of a game I was interested in: At least over $30 but not exactly sure. That's what's so great about F2P; the purchases add up over time where it doesn't seem like much per but ends up being quite a bit.

I spent about 50 - 60 dollars to obtain some BPOs and Boosters. Chump change, really.
I'll only feel like I've been "ripped-off" (or whatever) if my BPOs and unused boosters don't, in some fashion, transfer to Legion. |

I don't think that has anything to do with you "buying the future". Nor does it have anything to do with Dust on the PS3 or the microtransactions therein.
I will say though, that to imagine Legion will come to the PS4 is pretty foolhardy. If CCP even had the slightest intent to do so, they would have mentioned it as part of the keynote. Instead, they said "PC". I think that's pretty definitive personally. Logically, also, a move to the PS4 would be unlikely, and I can go in to reasons if you like, but how about instead, we stick to the topic at hand - non-existent theft.

None of that changes anything. First off, CCP hasn't said the Dust servers would go offline, right? So, I think your Aurum will still work. Second, just because you made something up in your mind, doesn't make it reality. You know, past history doesn't predict future performance, blah blah.
