we want to know about dust. not legion. we know plenty about legion because its all you talked about during the dust keynote.

all your doing is talking about legion and it gives the impression dust has completely been swept under the rug.

CCP its to late to try to damage control this whole thing has been nothing but a mess. I don't believe you have the kind of financial 'robustness' that companies like EA does, to just bulldoze through bad press and illwill. It makes sense that you would want to try and expand beyond EVE and not every attempt will have success - just be honest about failures and try not to burn too many bridges along the way. Honestly tho i think all we can do is stand as a community and wait for a response a legitimate one at that it would have been much better with some communication to us about plans but nothing untill now.

My expectations were low when it came to getting some new info on the player market/trading, changes to bpos, and maybe a new game mode and we get basically nothing.

Are you out of your ***** mind????????? If you had just come out at the get go and said "Ok... Dust 514 wasn't as successful as we hoped and now we are looking into ways to expand it into a new project for PC and maybe later next gen consoles." then maybe... just MAYBE we would actually be encouraged by what we saw and be more understanding. But you didn't FFS!!! You duped us with it being a "Dust 514 Keynote" and it wasn't even really about Dust! So how would that make you feel if you had NO IDEA about what was going on? Working with a PS4 or XB One and understanding that you have X hardware and optimizing your performance for that point means you have known performance targets. Adding the variability of end user computers and performance for an FPS seems like saying "I'm better off baking a whole cookbook worth of cookies and that will be better than just choosing two or three recipes from the cook book and perfecting on them" While the argument that developing for multiple different platforms is nice in theory ... The PC market for gaming has insane amounts of performance variability. The only potential that I can see is that you have a larger potential playerbase. But in a multi-year lead up? Sure. We know that Dust has issues and that starting "fresh" may be needed. A "reboot" so to speak could be handled inside the Dust 514 meta. But the console players, the ones who don't play on PC's and don't do FPS games on the PC feel like hey are left by the side of the road. Their tracks in the sand lost in the sands of time. Doing dev work on PCs? Sure that's expected. But you could have been doing similar on the PS4 ... Or the XB One. And right now... The Dust side of Eve is burning. Figure out the forward plan and communicate our path forward for Console players. Because a PC game is not a path forward for console gamers.

Dust is done for. That's pretty obvious. The only thing we can hope for now is for our chars to transfer over to Legion. And CCP doesn't want to give a clear answer on that currently.
