I will not waste my time and money if it's PC only to get treated like this again two years down the road.

Reading between the lines, what I'm seeing is "Dust is not the game we want it to be, so we're starting from scratch." Which is fine, actually. Dust is not great. We made it great through perseverance and blind devotion, but that will only get you so far. legion looks exceptional. But let's not kid ourselves here when you talk about not knowing what legion will become. It's Dust Done Good, and by inference, this version we have before us now is a relic. Nobody here saw that coming. We all acted as though Dust ps3 had a future, a development plan, and that you were committed to growing it into the game we all wanted it to be. I've enjoyed watching Dust slowly move towards something more than a fancy lobby shooter. I took several months off, came back and started liking Dust again (crazy right?). I was even thinking of going back and trying EVE again. But this news (and CCP's behavior just prior) does not inspire me. The lack of straight answers from CCP doesn't help either. It's going to take a lot of work to fix this situation.

For example, fighters and 100+ vs 100+ combat (yeah I do know certain game(s) managed to do that). The big issue is that: Legion seems to give not only looting and other extras but also has same pvp so is a direct competitor to Dust. Competitor, and that brings players the legitimate fear of being a replacement. Came back to Dust from a break and what did I find? Cloakies with physical invisibility which works in all situations.=(

Any modern PC should run EVE on decent settings. My $600 laptop( HP Envy DV6, 3rd gen I-7, Intel HD4000 graphics) will run EVE on high, PlanetSide2 on medium, and COD Ghost on low settings.

Dust was the only reason to get a PS/3 and I was thinking of upgrading it when this one dies. To be honest, I don't have the time to play Eve much these days (I am a full time carer for my wife) so I can get on and play maybe half a dozen battles a week but can't find the time to get immersed into Eve by taking a ship out and doing something. Whilst I have no experience of console shooters other than Dust I have to say that I am rather disappointed in it but I continue purely because it's in the Eve universe. I just hope that Legion will be merge into Eve better and the removal of Dust doesn't damage anything. As for my poor Dust character I don't think that I will spend any more AUR on weapons and just let that fade out and now play for free. So, in a way, CCP have done me a favour and I will be pleased to be seeing something on the PC. I expect that there will be lots of rants by illterate fourteen year olds unused to Real Life and the workings of the Real World which were behind this decision but, to be honest, Dust wasn't what I expected nor did it live up to expectations so it's right and proper that it's getting a rebuild from scratch.
