Been around since closed beta, ya know, when game was fun & had real potential. At this point, unfortunately, I don't really think there's anything they can do to get me interested in this game again. However, I still hold out a, albeit small, hope that they will get this right eventually. Thankfully, there's passive SP. Up to 14 million & counting. So, hopefully, when they do figure this out & give everyone a respec, I'll have enough to skill into damn near everything

Yoshi I've talked to people who said that they would get 15-20mill isk every time they asked a director and they would even get it twice a day if they asked a different director...

I still have a feeling that people will be able to lock districts and make a profit. As a matter of fact I may just have a solution in mind. If you believe you have a method for still making a profit by locking districts, please file a bug report with details. Isn't that CCP's job to check logs for things like this. If you think the current problems of locking are bad, you haven't seen anything yet. I have seen glitches that would make a dev's head spin. However, why report them if it took this long just to stop a simple refund mechanic? I have proof of all of this too, so don't think I am lying in the slightest bit.

Why report them? Wow. So umm, tell them when something is broken / glitched / whatever, so you can help them, help us, help you. Do you want a bigger player base? Do you want DUST to be around in the coming years?

You have no idea why this took as long as it did, and no idea whether you could list 10 more things need fixing that weren't fixed within a few months.

Well, here's an excellent example in the OP that you can link them to. Ever since we heard that Team True Grit was being re-assigned back to work on EVE Online, we've been working hard between TTG members and management in Shanghai to make sure the transition was handled smoothly. We know these systems are valuable to the game and needed to be taken care of and not abandoned.

For a couple of months now we have been pressing for a list of small adjustments to the most broken aspects of the conquest systems, and we are thrilled that Nullarbor's recent trip to Shanghai yielded the implementation of a couple of these items as he worked alongside the next team to be handling link gameplay.

Many thanks to the Devs involved for taking the time to address community concerns as represented by the CPM, and making sure that FW and Planetary Conquest are continually iterated upon throughout this time of transition within the studio.

I haven't read a post by you since.... well never. who are you?

well i feel fw is owned by vets now but, your problem ain't proto stomping / q syncing in fw it's when we run low on isk we proto stomp public matches (for isk and to keep k/d ratio in check) and it prevents new players from getting into the game because every match they are proto stomped over and over and over so to even it out i would love to see isk packs you can buy with lp somewhere in the market its just an idea I mean right now we have to rely on pub matches for isk or beta player with deep pockets

I'd humbly suggest that's a rather defeatist attitude, and not wholly accurate. Then again, I'm not surprised ppl are giving up hope :(

Just to update on this, the note we got said reinforcement timer but I've clarified with the devs and it's now the battle will terminate an hour after the scheduled battle start time, not reinforcement window.

Clarify a bit more, this is from my understanding:

Battles that take place but no one in it is deemed invalid and will close within an hour.
From that it tells me people could still lock districts (the top 1% of DUST Corporations)

I hoping that I completely misunderstood what you are saying. If not then I have one more question, what was the true goal of the hotfix according to the higher ups?

PS: not whining, complaining, and or etc.. Just a consumer wanting answers.

A battle with no one in it at all will automatically count as an attacker loss with no refund of the clones or clone pack. While you can still technically lock a district, you can't do it profitably any more.

We're also looking at some other changes to the system, but I'll share the details of those once they get locked in for a later deployment.

What happens if the attacking side enters in at least one guy but then he leaves just to preserve the clones/isk, what would that do?

Then you can hack the points uncontested and blow their MCC without any contest, just like now. They would still lose.
