It depends how good your suit's protection is. Usually only heavy suits can survive Proximity Explosive detonations, when augmented with some protection, such as armour plates. Lower grade suits need more protection.
If you put LOTS of armour plates and shield reinforcements; it is possible to *just* survive an actual Remote Explosive. My guy can do this, but it leaves him with about 15 Armour HP.
For comparison:
All Remote Explosives deal 1 500 damage.
All proximity Explosives deal 750 damage.
Most likely though, yes; you will have painted the checkpoint a nice hue of crimson.

Yep I got it right then, no shields and only 192 armor which got damaged with a bunch of razor sharp knives and the partial armor plates that the caldari suits got= no ******* chance of survival.
I hope I painted it in such a way that I create something like the mona lisa |

If you're talking about me, Denak is currently at E11, and the rally point CRU is at B9 under the roof.

Jacques... if it's ok with you I'll use my next post to pick you up in the LAV an deliver us to the sally port near the CRU (approx A7). It will be a short post and tee you up to hammer the approaching Blood Raiders.
I'll wait till I hear from you to post.
Team...we'll be converging pretty quick all hitting some of the same targets so it will be easy to step on each other's post so I'll probably be a bit more deliberate about posting to make sure I'm not messing you guys up.
As for me I'll be focusing on my role as mid range overwatch and taking out key threats and being handy with the nanite injector. Let me know whatever you need me to do and I'll make sure it's covered in the posts.

okay that means that I could move him behind the generator block to get the guys on the elevated position on D7 under fire which can give someone else enough time to flank them from behind while they are occupied with Ermac or did I get that wrong with the position of the enemys? |

Wait, move Denak behind a reactor block to shoot at people 100 meters away with a shotgun? I didn't mention any specifics for the locations of enemies, I just told that there were still a bunch around the CRU area.

I meant that Ermac goes to the Generators I already crossed you out because that would be one hell of a sprint if you try to get up there that get's you killed maybe the next one who spawns in could take the stairs to flank them. |

they will be where the lab is meant to be which you guys wont be able to get into until i give the clear, however true can stumble onto other pens dotted about, still a lot of the base to cover :)

Blood pens are those places where the Raiders lock up slaves and slowly bleed them to death. Conditions are inhumane at best, Kador knows the better details, they're hidden somewhere in the thread and I can't be bothered to search through it.
Also, you don't really need to ask me where you can move your character Ermac, it's your character and we'll see where it ends up.
I also volunteer to go into the blood pens.

im suggesting something because I have no plan where the enemys are man, Heathen wrote something about them being up and now do I have no idea what to write except for "He spawns" and " he get's shoot a lot" im confused and have no idea. right now. |

Take it easy mate, we have a chance to really get a horror vibe going. Don't rush the Pen's section, also don't necessarily turn it into another battlefield. We can get some meaningful dialogue going.

Make stuff up about enemy locations, think of a scenario where you can best take advantage of your intended role on the battlefield. Team up with Kador on a tank and kill everything in sight, get a sniper rifle and snipe the **** out of the dudes firing from D7, you don't have to always rely on what others say to get some cool things done.
