You mentioned previously that we're all still in the Summit, which would be in Yulai, at the core of highsec. Not even Blood Raiders are dumb enough to assault through dozens of jumps in Amarr/Minmatar highsec to get into Yulai, CONCORD's home system.

It could be similar to how the troops on the "Immortal" trailer (at 1:18 - 1:40) were deployed. It can be clearly seen that the smaller troop transport deployed from the larger Jump Capable "mothership" before entering the atmosphere.

Also, just pointing this out now rather than later, I'm fairly sure that all our dropsuits are suable for use in a hard vacuum.

While we may have landed in a nest of a dozen HAV few on possibly even less than half are likely to be combat worth, assuming they are in maintanence as a laager, or large encampment of vehicles, would suggest to me. Its also very likely that in the heat of battle crews, even dusters will not have time to get them running and combat worthy, its also entirely likely that the sudden surprise of X dusters plus two hidden ones will rile things up and make comms traffic for them very busy.

Stealing a tank is entirely possibly mate, I'll even help ready the things for you. But we did just touch down in the middle of possibly 30 or more cultists.....

Only thing we can do is make as much noise and destruction, and distraction as we can before they inevitably kill us.

So Ermac what I have done to set the scene is the following.

I have landed South of your position, while you are amongst the Camo netting and command stations I have come down amongst the laagered HAV undergoing maintenance. 6 of them will in the lines I came down it waiting for maintenance crews, 2 will be amongst your area with maintenance undergoing and crews around them, and perhaps the remaining 4 will either be on patrol or standing guard within the compound.

The six under maintenance are powered down, and will require time to power up, I'd say about 10 mins, 2 of those I have put out of commission for longer, which will require their MLT or Civilan grade reppers another couple of mins to repair.

2 more will be under maintenance with crews on them thus will power up fast unless we stop them. The the other 4 HAV I leave to you to place, they could be deeper in the complex, or patrolling. I'd prefer if you left me some room to bring out the Truest Adamance...but I understand if you want to take it in another direction.

If steady doesn't like that, he can suck a ****..... in the nicest way possible.

Remember while they are blood raiders they wont destroy their own tech, given they don't know what they are dealing with just yet on our end. You can take cover, use one of the tanks turrets to blow up another , etc you have free reign. Just remember we can stagger the fight out and scrape a win out of it..... or we can choose to inflict damage and probably end up dying against all odds, before regrouping at Denak's uplinks inside the compound.

Yeah True would not touch a heretic tank......but more so than that I personally don't want to end up nicking off with an enemy tank. I don't think its plausible or worth True doing since he isn't kitted out with a pilot dropsuit.

When I'm reading through all this, my character suddenly feels very weak when compared to others. Denak dispatches a group of four with a clever tactic and gets overwhelmed by suicide charging and barely armored slaves. Meanwhile others go on four tank killing sprees and slaughter platoons of enemies. :/

Then again Denak might be the most sane and professional person around, in contrast.

Wait, move Denak behind a reactor block to shoot at people 100 meters away with a shotgun? I didn't mention any specifics for the locations of enemies, I just told that there were still a bunch around the CRU area.

hense why i dont want you guys rushing in. i was expecting lots of short quick posts for combat and we move on, not the epic stuff you guys have given me, im rewritting inside the lab to give each of your characters stuff to explore so i dont mind you guys free styling the combat.

as a rough number their would be a round 200 more combatants busy regrouping. im basing this off the size of the base the number killed allready and roughly how many raiders would crew a curser
