I was online for awhile running squads. I got a new recruite who joined DLND that should be a good fit in the new corp. He a loyalist and a decent player that proved himself in battle and followed squad orders.

As it stands, we have three members and a tie breaker to guide the direction of the corporation. As the corporation grows, I want to add to that, go no more than over 7 guys. I want to select good, honest players who understand the vision that we are expressing for the benefit of the corporation. This "council" or "coalition" will be the ones who decide on priority decisions, such as FW, tax, when we fight, who we assist and such. Any "loaning" of money must be cleared with this council. Transactions must go through the treasurer.
Directors are our visionaries and our leaders. If the coalition is the voice, the Directors are the body of that voice. They will take responsibility in guiding our men and women of the State in training in the tactical and procedural guidelines of war. If the director wants to schedule a time with players for training efforts, he is to gather intel from the members and conduct training drills on days planned. The Director will be our FCs. So commands will be given. For instance, the director might say, "break and bake" meaning squad can now split and begin wreaking havoc. "Dodge and Blob" can be for when we need to stay in tight and just blob our competition. So they will be our squad leads. I hope to build squads within the corporation. In a perfect world, I see Squad A with designated members, Squad B and so forth. This further promotes team cohesion. I would like to eventually builds towards that kind of set up.
We need a personnel guy. One who is good with people and able to bring in good players into the corporation. He needs to have a clear focus of what type of Caldari loyalist we are looking for. The truth of the matter is, not everybody will fall into the chemistry and chemistry is very important when dealing with our situation. You can say he's our PR guy.
Of course with time, we will modify as we see fit. But the former paragraphs are just some of the idea that I have for the building of the corporation. It must act like a corporation with that of a military discipline which will help fortify our strength against the enemy Gallente. I hope with formality and ladder leadership system, we can prevent in fighting and lessen the possibility of awoxers. I fully believe that must be in place before anything. It must be uniformed.

My intention was to infuse ways of a corporation with a military structure to create order to prevent failure of the corporation of itself.
A corporation is simply a group of investors who make bets with their money and are guaranteed insurance against large investment lost due to the sharing of the investment amongst "members" and the board that has voted on the endeavor.
CEOs, while the face of the corporation, can be voted out by the board. Often, more times than not, the CEO is just the face. It's the trustees that make the decisions in the background. They are protected by anonymity and the face of the CEO.
My intention is not to follow the democratic way but the corporation way. It is the Caldari way that we decide for the good of many and not one (or few). In creating that post, I wanted prevention methods that would act as its on defense system against the likes of Tibus Heth and PC corporation woes that befall many. I imagined the corporation as flexible but tight to be able to adjust to any situation. A sort of future proof structure.
Plus I wanted your guys input. Even the feedback on the idea is appreciated. When I thought of the structure, I didn't want Trenix Keltron to be the sole leader who makes the final decision. Narrow perspectives are not always good and it helps when selected members combine their brains to make an even smarter corporation than existed. I call it the Cerberus effect. One head severed means nothing since we have 5 or 6 others to lead the corporation.
If you guys still feel the same about it, then by all means, I am open to suggestions. Those were merely ideas of how to run the corporation for our best interests.
In truth, what I posted still resembles oligarchy. Democracy is defined as what the majority wants. Voting power will not be distributed amongst all members in the corporation. It would have to be that way for it to be democratic. But since I'm suggesting maybe 7 trusted members to decide, that represents the oligarchy and the way of corporations.
Again, those are just some of the ideas I'm throwing out there. Please be sure, fellow kirjuun, to post your ideas of how it should be structured to get maximum corporation effectiveness and brainstorming

I must apologize my fellow Caldari. I am very adept at handling small scale interaction and planning. Leading small groups into battle is almost second nature, but first and foremost I am a warrior. I have been since my youth when my days were spent hauling up fishing nets with my father and learning how to fight from his first mate.
But when things get this large I tend to get out of touch, to many variables involved you see. So I return to what I know, patching up my wounded and creating more wounded for the enemy to deal with.
All this to say I apologize for my absence this last week in our growing community. I am still committed to the cause but I must confess that I am at a bit of a loss as to the direction our original venture is taking. The original creators of the Kirjuun Heiian need to meet again, as do I feel the newcomers to the fold, so that those like myself who have been caught up in the busyness of life might get a better understanding of what all is happening within our beloved State. We do need to meet up again, I will be sending out mails tomorrow/today to schedule the day. The 28th there is going to be an informal caldari push in Kirjuun Heiian, so try to make it. While I don't agree with suicide squads someone else is organizing them tomorrow to make it easier to obtain cal wins.
For the meeting I think it will be pivotal that we recognize our higher wp scoring players, because I have learned a lot from these few weeks and have found quite a few dedicated caldari units as well as gallente spies, which I have used to discover pilot locations in fw.
I think a creation of a more discreet and invite only channel would be beneficial, particularly those who pull their weight, not that the channel will be full all the time but the peeps in there are your highly valued players, which we break down the hierarchy of discreet channel, kirjuun heiian, and then caldari hierarchy

Oswald,
we could use the channel we have now, we just ban everybody and invite them back in I know of another spie who took a whole squad into a gallente fw. Real bad.
We also need to recognize the vets and get them on a list. They could help the newer players and real good squads could be made. |

I have no qualms with that, the main point is for a more private channel, particularly for strong squad formations.

I would like to nominate myself as a Cal-FW Organizer. That said, corporations that fight for the State and show extreme promise will be considered for placement in LOKUN.
As it stands, LOKUN's primary Caldari supporters lie in the Dead Six Initiative, and Shadow Company HQ. I have prior PC experience, and extensive knowledge of squad/battlefield coordination both with and without Simul-Q. Simul-Q is something our Alliance has been doing from the beginning, and when done right, we can stomp the Federation even when they're going full proto-bear.
Leadership of the Alliance falls directly to me. I maintain a council of CEO's from each representative corporation of the Alliance, but in the end, I dictate the best choices for the Alliance as a whole and move forward. There are votes, but they come down to the most reasonable options available with LOKUN's best interests in mind.
As of right now, my people only use one FW channel, as one of my Directors is an active moderator of the channel and he helped get it created in the first place.
