Come the 10th, we need to be q-sync full teams into fw. I'm not on elitist, but the gal.corps are already running full teams of proto and we need to keep the random blues out of the battles we fight. Every match my squad fought yesterday, we where the only ones able to hold an adjective. It was a bloodbath on the poor blues. It felt like i was in pubs. Most of the corps i seen yesterday on gal. Side where all pc corps, so we know they will be able to afford proto long term.

This^ is a good awareness post for all Caldari loyalists to take heed to.
If you're not in proto suits and still wish to aid the effort, do not fear. Make sure you roll with a squad. If not, try to stick with players in hopes of building comradery with them. This can be done by speaking with other players on the mic. Even if no one responds, 9 times out of 10 they are listening. If the heat of battle turns up, try not to berate and get too excited. Remain calm. A calm voice will be a rock to other players. Call out what you see. Comms is the glue that binds. Use it wisely and effectively.
Also be disciplined. Restrain from being kill horny. If you're outmatched and see your life bars depleting rapidly...RETREAT!! Gather your wits and reassess the situation. We need to be cautious of our clones for any objective based match can quickly turn into a bonafide ambush pub stomp. Revenge is winning the battle. We are here to win the war. When you fight with anger, your thoughts are not clear. Your reaction is not as smooth. Your grace will fall. Remember that. Nothing is worse than a cool calm calculated killer on the battlefield. That will show in your actions.
Concentrate fire as well. Do not concern yourself with KDR or if someone stole your kill. Any death given to the Gallente is a good one, no matter who's rifle it comes from. If you concentrate fire on these protos, they fall quickly. That's why we have so many complaints about protostomping (IMO). Blueberries don't work with each or concentrate fire to cut the "giant" at his heels. It can be done. Red eyes can be dead eyes.
As you concentrate fire, remember your lane. Friendly fire will be on. Erratic movements can be problematic if your standing besides your brothers in battle. Maintain your discipline!!
Only revive when the immediate area is cleared. Know your surroundings. Reviving for a whooping 60 WPs is not ideal when your comrade has fallen yet again to a red that hasn't been disposed of. That's two clones within nanoseconds. Those two clones can mean the difference between a victory or defeat.
Assist the heavies. Folks are not that afraid of heavies and will rush them. If you see this happening, back them off!! Even if you're not hitting the target, suppressive fire can do wonders to help you and your teammates gather yourselves for a better offensive. When this is done, the red will have a "oh ****" moment and most likely jump. While you're keeping the red busy, the heavy should just be melting away any armor or shield he has stacked.
Lastly, battlefield awareness is a must. In order to defeat the enemy, you must understand the enemy and think how he will think. Check those corners when you enter in enclosed environments. Look to heights since the most common strategy now is, the higher the merc, the more kills he can get without dying. Listen for gunfire!! Check your six!!! Constantly use your peripherals to detect moving objects on your screen that may or may not know of your location
I don't profess myself to be an elite player. But I do understand and know several ways to be competitive in battle. War is never pretty. Leave your tears at the door. Whatever adversity you face, remember that there is always a way around it. It's just hidden in the perceived threat. Work with each other as a unit. If we can do these few things, victory is assured.
May the Way guide you all in battle!!

You give truly good advice Arck-Haan. Just a quick update, NCM was running two four mans squads in FW for the last four hours or so. We won most of our matches and hopefully gained some ground in the fight against the Gallente NCM would gladly que sync into any and all FW matches in order to build large, well organized teams that can push back the oncoming Gallente storm.

I'd do the contacting myself but I only play the forums these days. Might start playing a little come 1.7 (tomorrow)

Cool story from last nite, was doing fw with me and 2 others in my squad. We ended up in a match that the entire other team was kill em quick. 1 was able to add 1 more blue to my squad, but every one else where talking about how we where going to be redlined. The map was the new city map with A under ground. I set the capure order to B, called in my scout fitting and headed to A while my squad worked on B. I hacked A and the supply depot and back shot 2 reds on my way. I set the defend order on B while i switched to my proto hmg heavy and proceded to defend A. By this time i picked up 4 blues helping defend A while my squad defended B. The rest pf the blues fought over the two outside objectives managing to capture them for short times while we never lost either objective in the city. A long story short, our team of rag tag blues where able to holdoff a full team of one proto wearing corp and win the match with good smart teamwork, and no concern about our kdr. I gave everyone in my squad 1 mill isl to help with thier lose's and to reward them for unshelfish play. I hope any single Caldari loyalist that reads this will understamd you dont need nothing more than teamwork to compete and win some of these battles.

On a side note, anyone squading with me during FW matches and running adv or proto gear, i will help offset your lost fittings by paying for them. The isk dont matter to me, only the victory, so i want to see you running the best you have. Or whatever fitting your the best in. I will not be paying for aur fittings though. Your on your own there.
On the 10th, lets show New Eden the Caldari are the Master Race
PS. I well help fund your tank or DS fitting also if they are good ones. Not milita. This is why i started my corp, to help fund Caldari FW matches.

Outstanding!!!! I was just discussing that the other day with a merc on the forums. Teamwork and smarts overrides any threat of a proto. Combine the strength and watch the giant fall. Nice work out there Jane!! o7
That match sounds like it was plenty of fun. Don't you love it when you see blues work with other blues?? It's pure elation for me. And nice reinforcement touch with the ISK reward.
Just a great story to read. Thanks, as always Jane, for providing the posts that we need to hear. Fellow sister of the State, may your ancestors and the Way continue to guide your unrelenting efforts on the battlefield. You exemplify the mindset that is pure Caldari

Against a RR? Heavies don't stand a chance. I was in a groove and everytime I seen one, I laughed and just put that little blue square on their heads while I waltzed to a tune. The heavies are drop like horse flies. |

One thing that sticks out is how unorganized the players are. I jump in matches that had only one squad open. I create squad and get on comms to encourage everyone to join. No one is budging. In just 4-5 matches the team was highly organized and not coordinating any attacks. Some objectives were lost that shouldn't been lost. I mean, I saw the blueberry standing right there as they hacked the objective.
We are going to need to flood the FW with our organized corporations. Hopefully some players will catch on when we lead the way. |

We will need to be deploying at least 2 squads into these matches to stand a chance. I'm sure once the blues learn how to play with tk on, they will get better but till then its gonna be messy

I have Verizon where I live and by far its way better than Comcast. You can feel Comcast's throttle. VZ is just alot faster.
Also, if you have free time this weekend, consider one slot in your squad reserved. I would like to have a q-sync weekend, if its possible.
Oz discussed about Caldari loyalists making an email specifically for communication between the ranks. I think its a great idea and I will be creating one shortly for whenever I need to be contacted. |
