Michael Arck wrote:Thank you all for the replies. I'm just wondering, what can we do to merge all players who seek the same end goal? We each seem to be pursuing this separately, trying to build our own corporation's name.
We need to brainstorm some ideas. Really get the ball rolling on this.
Please feel free to share ideas and concerns. Do we want vote on the best name for a corporation and then all join? Maybe have a training corporation besides the corporation for FW. How can we get people in the Caldari Hierarchy channel to join this mission?
Or do you have a better idea for this renaissance?
Let's really get down to business and see what is possible. Starting a Caldari coalition corp would be cool, but will also be difficult. Try to get members for a corp out of the caldari channel would be dificult also, quite a few of them are in large corps to begin with. But i think once the fw changes happen, it will draw more players in just because of the new market, leaderboards and loyalty points. FW could end up replacing PC for alot of players. Those are the ones that need to be recruited into the Caldari cause. We need to keep posting ideals on how we can acomplish this.

I understand. Though am I wrong to assume that you are still leaning towards wanting to do so anyway? If its done right, don't you think that it will prevent the inevitable burnout? Even as I say that, I know that's probably a lie I just said. But I'm hoping we all can learn from the mistakes and create something unprecedented in the New Eden universe. Yes, it has been done in EVE but to get it done in Dust; it's going to take some work but I think we can be organized. I might be ignorant in saying this but I do realize that console gamers seem to fail with organizing as opposed to PC gamers. Yet, that can be dismissed with the right people fighting for the Caldari...and of course our Amarrian brothers. You see, I'm a passionate player (as you may well have read) and I truly believe that my will combined with others who feel the same could really change the aspect of FW. But that's hard to do when either you're A) not known or B) not widely popular. The ISK grinding part can be done without your help, if that would be comfortable. For instance, we could have days set up to specifically ISK grind. We can have certain teammates that just work towards this goal. Maybe have two 6 person squads doing the work. If each person made 300K ISK per match and with two squads, we would make 3600000 per match. Plus with taxes, we should be doing okay to get the ball rolling. If we were to do this, your insight would be valuable to the cause True. one way to isk grind is to set aside days where all members fight in starter our militia fits. All monies from those matches get donated to the corp plus the tax's. But to make this work, there needs to be at least 30 to45 active members in the corp that way 2 full squads could deploy at anytime. If we can come up with a good corp plan and a strong leadership structure, we could probsbly fold in some smaller indie corps who feel ceated out of pc and are looking to do somthing that matters besides pubs. I have no problem folding my corp or any of its current or future members into a Caldari corp if the sitiation is right. Again, just throwing some stuff out there.

That probably the best course of action. With a secure channel and members we trust, being a part of 1 corp isnt that important, not if where all part of a coalition fighting for the same cause. But we will need eve side support, someone that can help set up an aliance between dust and eve pilots.

How long have they been in existence? Do you feel Test has what you're looking for as far as Caldari support? Test and test friends have been around eve and dust a long time. They just recentlyoved into caldari space and have takrn up arms for the state(they fought for the amarr before). Test in dust is ran by subdreddit. All alainces to test in dust must be through subdreddit, and if approved you start in test friends untill you earn their trust. They have secure channals and thousands of pilots.

Ran in a squad with members of Murder Inc. Some very good team based players in that corp. I aproached them about FW, they are going to be involved with it, they just hav'nt decided what faction yet. If any of you see them in fw, squad with them and show them what we have to offer as a coalition. Maybe they will join the cause. (they where fighting for the Caldari when i was with them)

Agree also, thats my one requirment to joining my corp, fight for Caldari only(amarr only if its benifecial to the caldari). Man i hate flying DS. Come the 10th, we need to be q-sync full teams into fw. I'm not on elitist, but the gal.corps are already running full teams of proto and we need to keep the random blues out of the battles we fight. Every match my squad fought yesterday, we where the only ones able to hold an adjective. It was a bloodbath on the poor blues. It felt like i was in pubs. Most of the corps i seen yesterday on gal. Side where all pc corps, so we know they will be able to afford proto long term.

Cool story from last nite, was doing fw with me and 2 others in my squad. We ended up in a match that the entire other team was kill em quick. 1 was able to add 1 more blue to my squad, but every one else where talking about how we where going to be redlined. The map was the new city map with A under ground. I set the capure order to B, called in my scout fitting and headed to A while my squad worked on B. I hacked A and the supply depot and back shot 2 reds on my way. I set the defend order on B while i switched to my proto hmg heavy and proceded to defend A. By this time i picked up 4 blues helping defend A while my squad defended B. The rest pf the blues fought over the two outside objectives managing to capture them for short times while we never lost either objective in the city. A long story short, our team of rag tag blues where able to holdoff a full team of one proto wearing corp and win the match with good smart teamwork, and no concern about our kdr. I gave everyone in my squad 1 mill isl to help with thier lose's and to reward them for unshelfish play. I hope any single Caldari loyalist that reads this will understamd you dont need nothing more than teamwork to compete and win some of these battles.

The isk dont matter to me, only the victory, so i want to see you running the best you have. Or whatever fitting your the best in. I will not be paying for aur fittings though. Your on your own there.
On the 10th, lets show New Eden the Caldari are the Master Race
PS. I well help fund your tank or DS fitting also if they are good ones. Not milita. This is why i started my corp, to help fund Caldari FW matches.

I mean, I saw the blueberry standing right there as they hacked the objective.
We are going to need to flood the FW with our organized corporations. Hopefully some players will catch on when we lead the way. Thats why q-synq is gonna be so important. We will need to be deploying at least 2 squads into these matches to stand a chance. I'm sure once the blues learn how to play with tk on, they will get better but till then its gonna be messy

I hav'nt seen that many tanks since closed beta. I love the rail rifle, i gotta learn how to use it on a medium suit though i had some luck with my heavy, but only in city area's. I had alot of fun and think ccp is heading in the right direction with dust. All in all i think 1.7 is the best gameplay since closed beta. Now we just need to start taking control and kick some Gal. Well, we are about done with the first week of FW 2.0, how is everyone feeling about the changes? Are you all feeling good about the FW channel, how about the ability to organize matches to increase our odds of victory?
I like the changes to FW, being a heavy, its been a challage to adapt to the new weapons, my kdr the first week is 1.0. I've had matches that i went 17-4 and some where i went 2-10. All depending on the map. I hav'nt had a problem squading or building a squad from the caldari channel. Been plenty support eve side. Biggest problem i've seen is the lack of oganization in matches. Not enough squads and very little teamwork with the blues. Alot of them are clueless and fail to do what it takes to win. I've seen alot of players camping behind the redline and not trying to capture objectives. I think alot of them either are worried about tk. Or just dont care and are farming lp.

Trusting corps with mercs fighting for more than one faction (Amarr aside) is difficult.
We need all the Caldari corporations involved in factional warfare to have a common list of basic tactics ie.
Tac 1 = Uplinks
Tac 2 = Nanohives ect..
we need to be more organised on the field too. Since WP doesnt mean sh!t on the field now 4 man squads are likely better for syncing and designating squad positions ie, squad 0 holds objective" A" squad 1 holds objective "B" and so on ect. we are more likley to get more players into a match if they are in a smaller squad. 4 infantry is more than enough to hold an objective and no map holds more than 5 objectives Like i've said before, i would be willing to move to another corp if it was a good fit and had a stable leadership structure. But i'm done with large corperations, they always struggle to balance whats right for both the members and the corp.
I still deploy into every match in a tac-1 fitting droping uplinks and nanohives. I also agree with 4 man squads. You only need to hold 3 objectives. 3 squads each capture and defend a objective while the 4th squad is used as a floater helping out the other squads to either capture or defend. I've also have had luck with a single 6 man squad, split into 2 teams after deploy and each capture and defend an objective and hope the blueberries will be able to hold amother long enough that you win.

Also allowing players that are experienced (have enough skill points to build effective suits and have basic understanding of combat ) and loyal rather than only the best. Eventually numbers will be part of the game too. If the Gallantes cannot match the number of mercs deploying they will lose ground.
I only hope CCP has better merc data accessible in the future so you can see loyalty points and othe important data when hiring mercs.
The Ghost CEO is an excellent idea and a corporation could greatly benifit from an EVE side holder. As metion before they have more options for control and with corporation growth can make locked mutual voice channels between the "Academy" Corp and the "Main". Maybe the CEO postion could be given to someone who plays on both EVE and 514.
One detail that is very important to me is that any money that is collected from tax if any is somehow benifitting the corporation and its contributers and not lining somebodys personal pocket. Hey I like that. Great suggestion. Someone who plays EVE and Dust would be great. That's best, yes. I wholeheartedly agree about the corporation's wallet. We DO NOT want it to be a bank account for someone to just line their pockets with. Good suggestions Ku Shala. my thoughts also. The whole corp wallet issue is the sticking point with me. I've given 700 million in isk to a previous corp and got squat in return. If the money is for a good cause and the members can see how that money is being used, i have no problems. But taking or asking for money that members cant see whats its used for, never again from me

Which corp would be the training corporation in the future?
Just questions I'm throwing out there... Hey all. I would be honored to serve the Caldari and the new corperation in any capacity thats needed. Also i have corperation lvl 3 and maybe enough sp to get lvl5. I will check tonite when i get home. I will promote John to ceo of Dirty Laundry that way i will be able to move if needed to create a corp. On the battle front, i encounter alot of players in npc corps fighting for Caldari, i feel it would be wise of us to try and educate said players on the Caldari and try to recruite them into one of our existing corps for training. We need to increase our numbers for the hard fight ahead. Also that way we can weed out any who are not loyal to the cause.
We will regain what we have lost through Loyalty, hardwork and determination for that is the Caldari Way.

Certinly between us we can more than fund any cost involved in making a new corp as I don't believe you can rename a corp with members in it.
A head count of the people that wish to be involved in the council would be greatly appreciated ( Arck, Madson, Greywatch, and myself ,I would assume are in).
Does anyone know of a Capsuleer that would be interested ( with the required skills ) to become our Ghost/ 5th council member ? I believe Jane is in as well. We'll confirm with her later. To be honest, I am a foreigner when it comes to EVE. The only one I know of is from the Cal meeting we had a couple of weeks back. Her name was Lady Rohk(sp). In the meeting, she seemed game for organization for the Caldari. I think she would get involved but again, I have no way of contacting her unless I see her on comms. She's in my alliance if you want I can let her know you want to contact her Excellent! Everybody listen up. I host this operation that my squad mates and I call Friday night ops. We start this every Friday at 8:00 Pacific Standard Time. We will discuss the matter at hand. I hope I'll see you guys tonight in the Caldari FW chat. Bring a mic if you have one. See you guys there. The friday thing sounds awsome. Will try to be online by then, i'm out of town christmass shopping and may not be home yet.

Luna Angelo wrote:As far as it concerns us, the State can be our Alliance for a bit. The problem is, you won't see the chatter. So you'll never know when we have OS support. I, on the other hand, will. With an Alliance, I can probably get more people from EVE in, as well. It all depends on what people need.
EDIT: Also, there are people on the EVE forums that are in NPC corps that want to fight Caldari, and trial users that'll need a community. So, I think Alliance is good, but not required. For the State. o7 One thing we are lacking in this war is numbers. We dont have enough organized mercs to defend or capture districts. Most of the big dust corps and alliances are fighting for Gallente because their only loyalty is whats offerd in the LP market. Bringing in eve players and inviting them to fight under our banner is somthing that really needs to be considered amd voted upon if nessarey.

For the state we fight and give our lives not for glory or fame, We do it because its what right, a reward for our mother and our name, Every death brings new life, and the opertunity to do it again, For every day that we fight, our love for the State will be proven over again
Just a little poem to show all mercs that the cause we fight for has its rewards. Hope you all like it.

If we are using the Caldari language (which we are) our Alliance should reflect that, right? And the perfect name is apparent if you think about it. It's so simple, I don't understand why I didn't think of it sooner. As a matter of fact, it's already used in game. The name of our coalition, Kirjuun Heiian. No one would be surprised if it became our Alliance name, it's already our battle cry. Thoughts? Mind reader. I was thinking Kirjuun Heiian would be a great name for a coalition, alliance or corp. You got my vote! Pryde: Not a mind reader, just quick off the draw and focused on the task at hand. Even while reading the latest skillbook manually ((actually it's Stephen King's book about the JFK assassination, "11/22/63")), I was thinking about this and it just struck me like a bolt of lightning. Kirjuun Heiian is already powerful enough and close-knit enough to be an Alliance, it's just missing that formality. So, make it a formal Alliance and all that. People would rally to our cause if we did this, I think, and bring entire corporations into the fold, so we can have people doing all the stuff needed in EVE and DUST, explorers, miners, FW capsuleers, Planetary Conquest capsuleers, FW mercs, PC mercs, even industrial, making ships and such. It would make this much easier and we can one day be as powerful, if not more, than the major Alliances, like TEST, RofL, and EoN. Or you could save the isk and join an Eve alliance already in place that has a decent sized dust participation. It would save isk and make that alliance stronger Evem though your ideal has merit, starting a Caldari alliance and bringing others from eve and dust under that banner is the way to go. We need to create a united Caldari front and a place for all loyalists to call home. Luna's ideal is what we have been striving for

SooN Gäó (we will have to moniter the wallet) a smaller tax rate on days that are played less to encourage more players to come online, and no tax on days we have heavy factional warfare battles to help replenish our troops wallet.
Have fun with the corp discription 1. it can always be changed, 2. with your passion towards the caldari I cannot see anything less than great At DLND i kept the tax between 5-10%. What i did was give surplus money back to the members to fund fittings and skills. Running proto or adv gear in fw gonna be expensive and i feel fw matches should be partialy funded by the corp. If nobody disagrees i will set the tax at 10% to start. We can change it from there to match the corps needs. I also put 2mill into the wallet for startup costs. I will be online agian in about 1 hour to make that changr and except any apps

I was online for awhile running squads. I got a new recruite who joined DLND that should be a good fit in the new corp. He a loyalist and a decent player that proved himself in battle and followed squad orders.
