So I did the math... Logistics get inherent 5hp/s. Gallente Logi also has 5 low slots.
Base armor HP * 1.25 (Skill bonus) = 225 HP + 148.5 (Complex plate after the buff + 10%) * 4 = 819 armor + 80 base shields * 1.25 = 919 + 72.6 (single extender) = 991.6 HP
Now, you got 1 low slot for a armor repairer, which puts you at 11.65 hp/s. And you got two high slots, for either even more shields, OR two complex damage mods.
So in total: 991.6 eHP 11.65hp/s regen +20% damage And four equipment slots
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Drop the inherent 5hp/s regen and remove the extra high/low slots they got from the assault variant. |

Huh, must be my turn to shine then. Let me ask you something, did you do the math with PG/CPU? Because if I am not mistaken that suit has no room for equipment, a weapon above basic, or high slot modules. |

Have you done the fitting math? Plus who the hell runs 4 complex plates? You would move slower than a heavy with 40% decrease to running speed.

Smart people will keep shield tanking because there will be a rise in usage of explosive weaponry to counter the resurge of popularity with armour tanking.
Slow-moving heavies with slow-moving logistics players sticking with them? Flux + MD, free double kill.
Therefore, CCP has simply indirectly restated their preference for shields. Armour supporters have been checkmated.

Except for the potential increase in shield recharge delay in 1.5 and the movement speed being altered in 1.4 for armor plates.

so i did some more math and the gallentai logi can beat the cal logi by 88hp in raw hp with the cal maxing at 1173 hp and the gal at 1261. aswell as this if the suits were going up against explosive weaponry the the gal still wins but only by 1.25hp.i think something went wrong with that second calc im gonna repeat it. EDIT: GAL wins!!!! and both suits had a unskilled duvolle fitted |

Did the fitting for the Gallente logistics, and it is possible but there are some caveats that would mean this suit will not be abused in this way. First of all the suit will move at 4.09 m/s, thats almost the speed of a heavy without the same HP, absolutely no room for equipment not even a hive, if using a Duvolle and it requires 5/5 fitting skills. Also because of how limiting the speed is nobody is going to make this type of suit, also this type of suit is currently possible just with lower HP but it is also possible with every other suit but because of the speed penalties nobody uses it, thus it doesn't exist now and it won't exist then.
The Assault gk.0 can get be built slightly the same, but with 100 armor HP less. The difference is that it also has to resort to a Gek-38 and has lower repair (again I believe CCP will add passive armor), on the plus side it has higher shield repair and a speed of 4.51 m/s which is way faster than the logistics.

The main problem is the inherent 5hp/s. 6.5hp/s is **** slow, I can't see myself using three plates on my assault. But 11.65hp/s? Heck yeah I will stack plates.
Also, the difference between a duvolle and a GEK is minor at best, I never use a duvolle. |

Personally I believe Logi's should lose Low and High slots have have specialised Medium Slots which support the utility type modules which would make them less focused on stacking EHP boosters and more on their role as squad support and specialised operations.
