Huh, must be my turn to shine then. Let me ask you something, did you do the math with PG/CPU? Because if I am not mistaken that suit has no room for equipment, a weapon above basic, or high slot modules. |

Did the fitting for the Gallente logistics, and it is possible but there are some caveats that would mean this suit will not be abused in this way. First of all the suit will move at 4.09 m/s, thats almost the speed of a heavy without the same HP, absolutely no room for equipment not even a hive, if using a Duvolle and it requires 5/5 fitting skills. Also because of how limiting the speed is nobody is going to make this type of suit, also this type of suit is currently possible just with lower HP but it is also possible with every other suit but because of the speed penalties nobody uses it, thus it doesn't exist now and it won't exist then.
The Assault gk.0 can get be built slightly the same, but with 100 armor HP less. The difference is that it also has to resort to a Gek-38 and has lower repair (again I believe CCP will add passive armor), on the plus side it has higher shield repair and a speed of 4.51 m/s which is way faster than the logistics.

The main problem is the inherent 5hp/s. 6.5hp/s is **** slow, I can't see myself using three plates on my assault. But 11.65hp/s? Heck yeah I will stack plates. Also, the difference between a duvolle and a GEK is minor at best, I never use a duvolle.
Well until assault suits start carrying repair tools I really don't think we should lose this skill, you should add in the fact a good Logi will keep you repped not constantly, but when your armor needs a polish.
All suits will stack plates not just the Gallente logistics.
The assault has a faster shield repair, so its practically a trade off.

An Effective fit =/= OP The Gallente Logi being a better frontline soldier than a Gallente assault. How is that NOT OP?
Gallente logistics will not be OP because nobody is going to use this fitting with 4 complex armor modules, that would put the logistics at 4.09 m/s that is extremely slow. Actually I created the same fit you suggested on a Caldari Logistics and it gets 971 EHP with 4.24 m/s and the same repair, so if anything go complain about the CaLogi because at least that one has playable speed.
What this update does is put the Logistics suits at higher HP and armor repair than the Assault counterpart, which is actually good because if we have more HP we can do our real job better, and it compensates for the lower speed. The only thing I would change is that the Assault role bonus is changed into 2% damage per level on light weapons and damage modifiers are removed from the game. |

nobody is going to make this type of suit? i do that suit and i almost alway at top list leaderboad.
You run a medium suit for 4 complex armor modules? Unless your a sniper, a TacAR user, or a heavy I highly doubt it. That meabs your suits speed is like 3.4-3.7 m/s. |

EDIT: GAL wins!!!! and both suits had a unskilled duvolle fitted Um... is anyone else seeing a problem with this whole logi thing? I'm lucky if I can get 600(total)hp on my assault and logis seem to be able to fit almost double that. Did we at some point decide to make logi's the real front liners? I guess I was a bit of a noob who saw thrown off by the wording. I saw 'Assault' and was like 'I can f stuff up with this' and the word logi and thought 'pff... why would I wanna support my team?' If I had known I would have spec'd into logi.
Difference between the Logi suit and Assault suit after 1.4 would be 5 repair and 100 armor HP. |

If you do it right, I have no problem with you. I have a problem with the people that don't, the people that use this suit as a better assault.
That I agree with. But its still to early to call Logis OP, specially since 1.4 is dropsuit balancing and we only know a small bit we don't know if they are going to add any more changes. Also this build is a very extreme case, I personally would never roll your suggested suit because I like high repairs (17.50) and fast speed.

You should have known better than to spec into an OP suit. It's your turn now bitches!!! Muhahahahaa!!!!!
But I specced into it for the equipment slots and the repair :( |
