Last time I checked we had something called flux grenades .Last time I checked it was the combination of the tac ar that made them seem insane.Last time I checked it was still all assault suits and ars. I have just found out that I am better at rolling cigars in the dark than otherwise .. hmm
Anyways .. to the point .. oh yes the patch notes from uprising 1.3
- Gave the Amarr logistics suit an additional low slot at PROTOTYPE tier and a third equipment slot at ADVANCED tier - Increased Amarr Logistics PG: 3 at STD (up to 36 from 33), 4 at ADV (up to 50 from 46) and 6 at PRO (up to 72 from 66) - Introduced the sidearm slot at STANDARD tier level instead of PROTOTYPE tier, so the role gets its defining characteristic from the start

Yes fixed as I see it,, paying for a sidearm that wasn't until proto made it Broken. Not being up to par with other logis broken.So wheres the rest or we just try to pick and choose and fail?

I've seen less on the field lately. Though I am a logi myslef In fact I'm specing into SMG's to get rid of the logi-assault stigma (Besides AR is boring and a Gallente weapon) I'm not in it for the K/D ratio |

3/4 of the logi suits don't have a sidearm, all have gimped sprint and movement speeds, and they are all limited in stamina.
I've been playing a minmatar assault on an alt, and it is FAR superior to my calogi suit for use in frontline combat. |

Easy fix. Make use of the equipment slots mandatory or suit is invalid. Then the CPU/PG is no longer a factor and the advantage of Assault base HP becomes more important.
The only ones who would disagree with this are the ones not using Logi as a support platform. |

Fine. Then if you have two slots then at least one needs to be filled. If you have three then two. And if you have four then three.
It is not about giving them limitations. It is about balance. So many complaints about Logi...how its unbalanced...how it is OP vs Assault when fitted outside the support role. The way things have been trending then the major push is going to be NERF, NERF, NERF. Taking away CPU/PG or High/Low slots will only hurt the ability of True Logi's to offer the proper support to their teams.
Locking in equipment slots is a much better alternative for the class. I mean if you are a Logi and you are not carrying equipment then why run a Logi suit. I get that CCP wanted to give players freedom, and I support that. But when my ability to do my job is being threatened by a forum witch hunt then I am willing to concede a little flexibility to save support capability.
Most of the complaints come from players who look at stats that affect performance like slots and power and cry fowl because it is MORE and actually can make a different if you are using the suit and not filling up the equipment. But what about those of us who use the suit the right way? So make equipment mandatory so they can go find something else to complain about and let me get back to doing what I have always done in this game. |

yeah logistics need more weakness... the fact that they can damn near out class assaults in everything because of several powerslots forces assaults into a corner which makes them useless. its basically LOGI Scout and HEAVY protogear that is left in this game. |

Some here seem to forget that the suit class is Logistics, not Medic. I've been pure logistics since closed beta because I like having the right support capability on hand for whatever situation comes around.
Every example I've seen called out that says logis are better at assault for one reason or another are purely situational.
Do I have a fit that can out gun you with more effective HP? Yep but I have to sac much speed to do it. Do I have a fit that can out run you with greater stamina with uplinks? Yep, but I'm paper thin and not going to stand toe to toe with you. Can I drop multiple RE types and still replenish myself? Yep. But I'm packing only STD heat to shoot you with. And can I run my equipment slots with the best medpacks money can but? Absolutely,but no complex reppers or adv rifles.
The people complaining are doing so as if the Logi can be all these things at the same time. They cannot. I have 20 mil skill points and over 20 different situational fittings to prove that.
If you can truly claim that a proto assault with all core skills maxed cannot fit all proto gear in l & r weapon, equipment, grenade, and high and low slots, then there is a problem, and CCP should address that. Its not the fault of the logistics suit. |

In every FPS role of medic is first to kill red dots then support. If you bring someone back in the line of fire you get hatemail.
Every suit should be created with one simple task - killing red dots . Different bonuses/ equipment is what should differentiate roles. So please stop your useless rants on logis.

I suggest everyone to try out the logis before you start talk **** about them.
the logis are slower then the assault variants, esp. all those armor logis after fitting tank (not to mention the strafe speed). I have the amarr logi at proto level and after one plate it is as slow as an unfitted heavy and it barely outsprints it. I need to fit a sprint/stam mod if I want to keep up with the flow of the battle but I also need a plate if I want to be able to do the job of the logi.
some assaults might need some tweaking, but they are still good in their niche. I also have the amarr assault and it is quite good at what it offers: -huge stamina is a free stamina mod -higher shield hp basically free extender over the logi -heat bonus equals a damage mod as it allows me to fire lasers at high heat longer (where lasers do the most damage) |
