You're better off using Assault Type-2. You can stack more shields and even have space for profile dampener. The higher speed of the Scout is not significant and not worth for -100 shields less.

Caldari is my favorite race so far so I'm gonna stick with the assault suit. The logibro is my favorite however and I can't wait to get rid of that ugly Minmatar suit for the Caldari version, which I hope is gonna be as classy as the assault.

Actually the low RoF shotgun version kinda sucks. I always have thought that you want the highest DPS in CQC, pretty much because of strafing and survival. The low RoF is more for long range because they usually have higher stability and less kick.
