This would help with ttk, give more of an mmo feel and create versatility. You could even make logi aoe healing mods etc. Loads of opportunity for fun with this idea, totally win in my opinion.

Its pretty simple really, copy most of the current mods, change their function to active mods and buff the stats. Sounds possibly op but just like tanks if you choose active you give up persistent passive gains.

Change grenades so they have to be selected from the wheel and R1 to throw them, mildly negates insta spam and then use L2 to open up the suits active mods. Obviously just like tanks, our current mods are passive but give us the option to replace ...

The current mods could be considered passive and in future we could get active mods, obviously like tanks, using an active mod sacrifices passive gains. I'm sure that's been mentioned actually.
