I think the MD is pretty well balanced. Ammo and clip size is about right, anything more and it'll start to border on OP. I haven't used ADS with it much at all because it doesn't seem to give any advantage over the normal sight. Ghosting would be...

I agree about the explosions sometimes not causing damage, it happens to me from time to time. As far as reloading between rounds the maximum fire rate is 1 per second, that's slow enough IMO.

Lots of good advice here. As far as weapons go, I love my mass driver. I get way more assists than kills, but my squad likes how I can soften up a group of red dots for them. Be careful though, if you get left behind the MD sucks in a 1 v 1.
