I would stick with AV nades, flux and locus are good and all, but might as well kill infantry with your gun and keep AV nades in handy for LAVs. Also if you have a good position just put down a nano hive and spam a tank. |

They're useful to have if you use a mass driver. Otherwise, you'll use the first 3 shots in your clip to take someone's shields down, and the last shot OHKs their armor.
I think they would be far more useful if they were impact grenades- or at least an impact varient |

Flux nades are great for the proto dropsuit players out there, take a peek at the top players on your team, guarantee if he is running assault gear it is shielded. And how too! From 400 to 600 shields, so if you wanna see an elite run away throw these at them! |

The flux grenade + mass driver combo is a great way to kill 4 guys really quickly if you sneak up on them |

So is the scrambler pistol + headshot combo.
Gotta love weapons that take practice to use to their full potential. It's a shame they're still only about equally as effective as an easy to use AR though. |

Flux grenades are awesome they make taking out tanks easy for the team as well with no shield tanks are butter For AV. Heavies with HMG? Laugh out loud. More like heavies with 4 seconds of health left. |

I heard they are suppose to but I'm pretty sure they don't damage equipment. I use them exclusively and haven't noticed it yet. |

Oh yes.
One of the greatest joys in life is the sight of a tank flipping out over the immense chunk of shielding it just lost in an instant. Sadly, I did this in a character I hadn't specced for AV, so it was just to scare it away.
They're like the newspaper to a tank dog. |

If a tanker gets overconfident and drives into a tight area like right on top of a spawn point, that is perfect for flux nades.
get in close, toss two or three flux grenades on him, then get ready. . .
when the grenades go off his shields are insta-gone, and then let loose with whatever other av you are carrying and be smart about using cover to stay alive.
it's fun to watch the tank panic and loose all fire discipline after lol. |
