the buff from last build really wasn't needed.
You ever use one last build? It used to be my main weapon (haven't touched one this build). Only half the clip would actually detonate- if you were lucky. |

I haven't had many duds, but every now and then I'll see one explode and it seems like the guy takes no damage. My biggest beef though is the lack of hit markers. whenever I do actually get hit markers they tend to be blue for some reason, even when there are no teammates in the area |

A very bad weapon choice. My bet is that you would be very soon frustrated by it and would wish you spent SP on something else. It's pretty fun the first couple of games but then you will soon notice that you die a lot more than you kill and you are out of ammo half the time.
It takes 2-3 well placed shells to kill an assault suit. Just to give an idea - the whole clip in the breach version holds only 4 shells and the RoF is slow. Add to that difficulty with aiming and limited total ammo. Now ask yourself if you are gonna have a lot of fun in this scenario. |

I have been using from start of this build and I'd say its a fair weapon. I can use it for crowd control / support mostly...
1v1 it can still loose out to a starter fit if their aim is good
Mostly I try not to 1v1 ppl at all since this is a team based game, but the mass driver is not the weapon to do it with most of the time... i find it better as a support weapon...
well I did until WP got nerfed and now its more beneficial for me to get the kill than let a squad mate get it... |

I have used this weapon since it was first released. It is by no means a terrible weapon, and not overpowered enough that it can not be countered in a specific way. Much of my time is relegating ammo usage and nano hive locations but even I am still learning to improve, that said at this point I almost know instantly the notch to use at any distance and moving targets are less of an issue at long distance. The real trick is surviving with this weapon. |

If you have green dots with you (because everyone knows all the noobs are marked with blue dots) the assault is the best, partly because of the smokescreen effect of shelling. if you one man stuff like me, id recommend the normal MD, as you can two shot assaults when you get good at aiming. they are only really effective at close range, but they slaughter AR's when you get good and close. i cant use a breach to save my life so i wouldnt recommend them. For your information, and to clear your ignorance, green dots indicate people in your squad while blue dots are people on your team but not in your squad. Green or blue has nothing to do with one's amount of experience in the game. You're welcome. I've never seen a joke go so far above someone's head before.
Nah. I just like killing jokes when they imply that the teller is willfully ignorant. |
