How many times have you just bled out because there are no Logi's around? There a big part of playing the team game style, but you just see them less and less. So I've decided to try and play around a little with the Logistic's suit. Please leave everything I need to know about em, what skills to develop, modules for the suit, weapons that work well with the suit, types of equipment to have and all that. |

I run my logi with necromancer nanites, gauged nanohives, and a flux repair tool. I also us a tactical AR, and av grenades.
Skill wise, I ranked up my shield upgrades, repair, mechanics, engineering, electronics, nano skill, and of course logi suit.
For the most part I only repair my squadmates in ambush, and repair blues in skirmish. I nanite whomever I can, but my squad always comes first. Other than that just take on your opponents at range, and get used to having really low kill scores. I rarely get about 12 kills a match when I run with my squad.
Good luck. |

You see them less and less playing with randoms. join a corp. first tip right there. get with a group of mercs that want to play with a logi and move as a team.
go tech 1 logi suit and carry a drop uplink, nano injector and a nano hive.

Let me give what comes off the top of my head.
Equipment: The most important part of your arsenal, you will generally be carrying three pieces of equipment, so that's what I will assume in this scenario. In a random game, I find a revive tool, drop uplinks, and a nanohive work best for me, mostly because they require little communication between squad mates. In a organized squad/corp battle, a revive tool, repair tool, and a nanohive work best for me, mostly because you can't repair practically anyone without making them wait up for your slow logi *ss, hence you will need a mic in that situation.
Modules: As a logi, you will have a much larger amount of customization, especially when you get a proto suit, which has four high slots and four low slots. I, however, find a type-1 suit to fit my needs perfectly fine and is cost-effective, so I will just give you my thoughts on 2 and 2 suit. As a logi, I find you will rarely find other logi's that want to repair you, so I find an armor repper is a necessity. Being a logi also means lower survivability, so I equip armor plates, but they aren't necessary. Sticking with my survivability stance, both my high slots are equipped with shield extenders.
Weapons: Despite being a support unit, you will still use a weapon, and I find the simple AR does just fine on a logi loadout, with simple locus grenades.
My methods: The first thing of being a logi is many people expect you to revive them. Take a look around, watch for snipers, just be generally cautious if you walk up to a team-mate in need of a revive in the middle of the street, also, don't revive people in the center of a gunfight, it's not fun to be revived and instantly be gunned down. If you carry nanohives, I find placing them next to objectives in skirmish gives them the most usage, though place them out of the way so they aren't destroyed by grenades. Drop uplinks should be placed in hidden areas if you use them, obviously you don't want the enemy to find yours and spawn camp it. Like I said before, repairing people is very difficult if you have to chase after them with it, so unless you are communicating with everyone in your squad, I recommend you don't use one. I wish I knew about active scanners, but you will have to find your own use for them if you are interested. Similarly, I have not dabbled in proximity explosives or remote explosives, so I can't give you any tips for them. Stick with a team-mate, but avoid trying to follow with scouts because they are much too fast to keep pace with. If you stick with a large group, like four or more, be wary of orbital strikes.
Skills: Mechanics and Shield Operation/Management for survival. Dropsuit Command, Electronics, and Engineering are a must-have, no matter what suit you use. Minmatar Logistics Dropsuit obviously Assault Rifle Operation, because you still need to be able to handle yourself in a fight. Nanocircuitry, Drop Uplink Deployment, and Repair Systems, depending on what equipment you use. Any skill required for the modules you choose to put on you suit. |

The rep tool will be getting its SP back at some point. If you run with heavies they love getting remote reps. For yourself fit as much tank as you can with a local armor rep. You may be the only remote rep about so you can't fit a pure buffer tank.
For weapon its really tough to top an AR, I enjoy a laser but thats a personal preference that sometimes gets me killed.
For tight fits the standard or level 1 version of things generally have the lowest pg/cpu costs. Militia or militia bpo stuff and higher level versions will all have higher fitting costs.
Make named fits with different combinations of tools. Gives you options when you need to deploy something specific quick. Have a standard logibro fit with injector / remote rep / nanohives. Have an uplink fit. An infowar fit for cqb can be interesting with a scanner.
Logi can also be fit for dirty surprise assault. If you don't fit any tools you can get a surprising amount of tank.
Generally logi is about being an asset to team and there are so many ways to go we can't document it all in one post. |

Lots of good advice here. As far as weapons go, I love my mass driver. I get way more assists than kills, but my squad likes how I can soften up a group of red dots for them. Be careful though, if you get left behind the MD sucks in a 1 v 1. |

Since i bought the merc pack when it had the logi suit special, im running with a type 2 suit. I use nanites, nanohive, repair in one build and i have an uplick swapped with the hive in another. I use light weapon damage modi, shield extender, armor plates and armor repairer on all builds. I use the codewish gun also on all builds. nades on one and av on another. Ive been maxing out my gun mostly but i spend sp here and there on armor and cpu when needed. Right now im at assult rifle profic lvl 3 so im pumping out about 80hp dmg per shot...
Lots of times when i go to revive someone they hit respawn before i get there, even though i say im on my way... The revive is still glitchy so you have to circle around the body to find the right spot for the nanites.
As for a build make multiple ones and then mix and match. Go to the market place and see what you want first then level that area up. Thats all i got for right now, gotta get back to work. Sorry for the typos but my phone doesnt like the fourms... |

I find no need to reiterate what other people have said, so ill just build off of it.
Logi Bro is pretty bright at being a Logi (with a name like that one would hope), so everything said here is all generally true.
What i will add is that i always have MULTIPLE setups with different equipment customization ready for whenever the need is called upon. As a logi i feel its a pretty safe bet opening up to anything that cna fit in an equipment slot is a good thing... but of course prioritize your needs when it comes to SP.
And as Logi Bro has stated, still need to handle yourself in a fight. I'll still make top 3 often in matches i enter, and even beat out some of my DPS brethren on occasion, all i have is:
Weaponry to lvl 5
AR up to a 3,
Sharpshooter to 3 ; I would suggest sharpshooter since as a logi your usually not going to be the point man, so being able to have some range on a target is always nice. I have also considered investing in MDs, with a focus on the ones that have spread damage, but tbh dont be worried about that until your thinking deeply on the strat side with clan members.
Joining a clan is highly recommended as a logi though, communication as a support role is usually pretty big, and fighting with people who understand team dynamics and are not in it for themselves is always a good push forward when playing a support role. |

Good luck. What he said, but I would use flux grenades instead.
Also, this may sound obvious, but stay in cover as much as possible- most of the times that people die, it's because they got distracted and ran out of cover without looking. |

Being a good logi isn't very hard but you do need to plan your fit to your situation.
If you are running with a squad of people who will need ammo often your going to want injectors/hives/RR
if you are pubbing it you want injectors/hives/Drop links
Your gun should complement the squad you run with. If your squad is 2 HMG heavies and 1 LR Assault then Running an AV weapon like swarms supports the squad most.
If you are running with a group of Assaults then maybe use the type 2 suit to keep up and grab Proxy Mines and Drop Links.
A good logi fits to their squad first and foremost |
