781. The art of AV was lost after Chrome - in General Discussions [original thread]
I lost three MLT rail tanks on Manus peak last night despite trying to be careful. I never made it very far out of my redline in fact, despite the fact that my team held Bravo and Charlie most of the match. The first was due to a small rail drop...

782. Balancing 0SP Pilots vs Specced Pilots - in General Discussions [original thread]
I don't think CCP wants you to be more effective the more SP you drop, just effective longer. It's a form of tiericide that allows starter players to do something and get a taste. It's not as if having twice the active module time per match does...

784. The art of AV was lost after Chrome - in General Discussions [original thread]
Of course there are skilled and unskilled tankers just as there are skilled and unskilled infantry. New drivers make plenty of mistakes and lose their rides as a result. A skilled driver in a MLT can outplay an unskilled in a STD just as can occ...

785. Tankers we are not proud of you. - in General Discussions [original thread]
We've got a lot of tanks on the field because it's finally possible to play with them without having saved 10M SP first. It used to be so expensive that it was ISK suicide to run anything but a very well fit HAV, and that meant committing a boatl...

786. Solution to the Vehicle Balancing Issue: Vehicle Capacitors - in General Discussions [original thread]
They have all the stamina code they need to implement capacitors. That's what they use for infantry. For some reason CCP doesn't think we are capable of handling it.

789. How to Fix Tanks without Changing Them at All - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
You don't want to make tanks cost so much that you reignite the "My tank costs so much that it has to be strong enough to survive X matches and therefore you can never kill it." argument.

CCP, are you listening? Here's your chance to encourage more creative play! Give dropships enough protection from redline rails and cheap tactics so we can realize the original vision of assault transport.

We had a threadnaught on this topic many weeks ago. I believe the consensus was it wouldn't be OP if the doors had to be open for non-turret passengers to shoot out. To be effective with hand held weapons the dropship would have to be in a sta...
