81. Dropships have no opportunity - in General Discussions [original thread]
I'm fitting a Python to see if I can take out a SL one on one. The Incubus isn't as nimble and I can't fly it like I did the Python. There was a fellow who made the advanced maneuver videos back before Fanfest 2014 who could do it.

My take is that CCP considers an EVE FPS to be a failed experiment. They went for the new blood on consoles only to have their current player base revolt and to discover that they didn't have the skill set to build an FPS. They did a great job wi...

84. Dropships have no opportunity - in General Discussions [original thread]
The original ships with gunners were more fun and the required teamwork good for the game. Unfortunately with squads of four that leaves three empty seats in public matches which makes transport attacks much less effective. The blinding effect of...

I'm running dual basic armor hardeners for a total of 80% resist and a basic heavy repper in the lows and an AB in the high. All levels of hardeners have the same resistance so it doesn't help to use higher tier, and I don't have the PG for a hig...

The real draw of a PC over a PS4 is that you can spend a bit more and get several times the power, as well as connect any set of gaming peripherals you want: HOTAS, Track IR, Voice Attack, rudder pedals, button panels, multiple monitors, etc. You...

It would be nice to know what CCP is thinking, but we do have some information. Project Legion has been silent since its introduction over a year ago. We would have seen something this last Fanfest if it were still being developed so we can infer ...

The promise was to be able to linger over the target for 30 seconds before having to run and hide. The reality is zero linger time when the first volley is launched. You simply can't be effective in the ADS if you can't stick around. That's why yo...

The uprising vehicle changes were supposed to transform vehicle play into "waves of opportunity" where they would be extremely strong for a short period of time before they became vulnerable and had to retreat for a cooldown period. I have flown ...

You have to look at the business case for a port. Ask yourself what CCP would expect from its investment. DUST was supposed to introduce the vast horde of console players to New Eden and to add a new dimension to the EVE universe. The dream was t...

We asked for vehicle locks two years ago and what we got was a spawn lock that made us wait half a minute to pickup anyone not in our squad.

93. Those that complain about Frames per Second - in General Discussions [original thread]
CCP never managed to integrate DUST and EVE in a meaningful way which left its main customer base uninterested or outright hostile to the FPS. They have to cater to that large fan base that sees every Kroner spent on DUST as stolen from their game...

It's on life support with the family standing around waiting for the end. There has been some improvement, most notably for me the suit tiericide, but without a port in sight we are fighting in our last clone. Once this clone dies of old age we ...

Don't go looking too deeply for logic. If you do you start finding holes everywhere. For example: Why aren't there clones in the CRU? Why can you run out of clones when you have control over a CRU? Why doesn't a CRU ever run out of clones? Why ...
