I've got a pretty spotty 1.5 mbps connection (in the US), which is about as low as you can go now days and I rarely experience noticeable lag. I'm pretty sure it's mostly on CCPs end somewhere.

I'd only be fine with FF in pubs if they added a system similar to halo where after something like two offenses of killing a teammate, the victim gets a "kick or forgive" option. Overall though, PC-yes, FW-maybe, pubs-no.

Personally I don't think they should add the ability. I think the choice of whether to run away/towards an enemy or reload to shoot is an important one. But I'd still be fine with it if it was added.

I strongly agree with approach and idea. There's a reason most FPS don't allow you to increase base damage and HP (juggernaut and stopping power, anyone?). And honestly, I don't buy the MMO (or even the RPG) argument. Dust is just as much a lobby ...

I look at it as a medium suit (has about the same eHP range) that moves slow but can carry two light weapons. I'm not going to spec into it, but if I did I'd probably use it as a hybrid assault/AV build.
