122. Swarm Launchers, Useful or Not? - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Yes- people should definitely use them more. They don't need to be used on heavies, so you can get where you need to be quickly, and without everyone seeing you. They're also very effective at long range. I was in a battle where we destroyed an A...

123. Scout Discussion - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
I believe that the 2 types of scouts are different from that- Search scouts- relays as much intel about the enemy as possible. It helps to know there's a laser rifle and an uplink on the roof, or a sniper on a certain hill; even an unguarded obje...

125. Bojo's School of the Trades: The Attack Methana (LAV) - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
The new LAV handling doesn't look promising- looks too tight. I was used to the super-sensitive-super-maneuverable ones we have now. Driving backwards after you spin around can be fun sometimes.

126. Shotgun Scout Fitting? - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
This is by all means NOT A GOOD FIT - however, for people who bought the merc pack and have AUR to spare, it will save you piles of ISK, while being fun to use. (everything listed here should be BPO, if possible) Dragonfly Scout Type 1 Militia...

127. Mass driver users help! - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
I would rather keep shield extenders than damage mods. You need as much tank as you can to absorb accidentally shooting yourself.

130. Simple laser rifle counter - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Last night (and technically this morning) I've spent more time in battle than I have in a long time (albeit using starter fits, and/or messing around with LAVs the whole time) I've experienced a simple counter to laser rifles last night. In fact,...

140. [Guide] 8v8 Roles in a Corp Battle - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
The whole 8v8 thing is pretty stupid anyway. It takes 8 people to make a dropship very effective (1 pilot, 2 gunners, 4 people jumping out, and 1 sniper to spot for them and kill AVers)
