102. Seeking Vehicle Gunner Tips - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
For a good gunner fit, just take a heavy and tank it out. Or, a gallente medium frame with a repair tool, also completely tank it out (armor is best since you don't need to worry about speed) and coordinate with the driver when you need to be rep...

103. Newb Guide to SMG - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
I may be imagining things, but as a scout, I noticed that SMG fire somewhat slows down the movement of people you shoot

104. The Scroll of AV - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
I have a few things to add First, about the flaylock pistol: I would NOT suggest this as a sidearm. It has a very small clip, slow-moving projectiles, and explosive hit detection is bad. However, if you're good enough to get a direct hit (which i...

105. AV question - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
I personally wouldn't run flaylock with AV- it's more of a backup weapon. Throw a ton of points into scrambler pistols, and any infantry that try to kill you will be sorry.

106. Sticky:[GUIDE] Weapon Ranges & Optimals (Proto HMGs added) - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
There's no way the scrambler rifle range/optimal can be correct. My scrambler rifle gets outranged by ARs all the time- not vice versa.

107. SMG, Unlocking Versatility - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
I swear SMGs have more range now than they did with the sharpshooter skill maxed out last build

109. Scanning - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
"you've been scanned" means that someone found you with an active scanner. I've actually never been scanned before :P (advanced minmatar scout with basic profile dampeners) I don't know what "scan failed" means, but I'm guessing either that the a...

110. The Unified Theory of Scan Profile - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Wait, there really is a "You've been scanned!" message? Damn, the average red must be far more stupid than I thought, since the use of a scanner never seemed to alert the people I ninja knife.

111. Sniper x (pick a number) = You Lose - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
I'm actually seeing very few snipers (maybe because I'm outside of the academy) What many people don't realize is that AV is more effective for new players- they don't realize that they can also destroy installations for easy WP. And worst case ...

112. The "NEW" Scout - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Scouts are a lot of fun this build. They feel super mobile, or at least the minmatar scouts do. All other suits feel slow and clunky in comparison.

113. The "push to talk" - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Push to talk doesn't prevent you from hearing teammates- it only controls when they hear you. You need to be holding down the left d-pad button every time you want to talk. Some people don't like it, but it's better than having to listen to backg...

I don't play a heavy, but I know the mistakes they make, from my experience killing them. Never for a second think that your superior eHP will make you unstoppable. Use cover, and watch your back- heavies have the worst scanning stats, so the rad...

118. The "NEW" Scout - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Scout vehicles (Btw, did we get black ops HAVs back yet? Those are scout HAVs) were put in too early. Like you said, profile doesn't matter when everyone can see and/or hear you anyway.

119. Are profile dampeners worth investing in? - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
I'm a nova-knifer and I love them so far. I'll try switching out my profile dampener for an advanced CPU upgrade (so I can fit prototype knives) and see if it's harder to kill people. Although I have to admit, I haven't had a problem with advance...

120. Quick Nova Knife Question - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
No idea, but I have another question: THIS build, what damage mods effect nova knives? I'm thinking melee damage mods might be it, just considering that the minmatar scout skill increases melee and nova knife damage.
