The up button (I think) pulls up the full list of players on both teams. I think the other buttons have functions equally critical on the battlefield. So the right button is the one that is of any use.

As an RE user, I would suggest you make sure the corpse is no longer bleeding out. They can be revived, they can blow an RE. Make sure they are in a state they can't be revived. Also, I enjoy doing this. It makes me giggle.
