Collision damage is FUBAR in this patch. It is being tweaked to work. It seems like they got it inverted or something. Move slowly and take massive damage. Slam the ground at full dive and take 1%. Beta, WIP, yada yada

The only reason we had a wipe going into this patch was to merge with the EVE name database. So unless they absolutely need to, they aren't going to do it again. Only an SP/ISK/asset reset at launch.

This thread is still a bunch of people too lazy to skill up knives. 1M SP and you can do over 400 knife damage with the proper fit. Certainly a huge alpha spike of damage.

I agree splash damage is high. Kind of gives a role to those heavies with high enough health to eat that damage. It probably needs toned down a bit but demanding removal is ignorance.

Remove splash damage and you might as well remove them from the game or change them to lock on turrets. I do not look forward to your threads when artillery is introduced and you start getting murdered by people out of line of sight.
