someone else has just told me that it only effects the rapid slashing with nova knives and not the charge bonus. If this is true then I guess it'll apply to the melee damage mods as well. With side arm damage mods effecting the charged weapon damage.

Are Nova Knives in this build effected by your drop suits base melee power? e.g. light fames with it's 80 power compared with the mediums 110 power and heavies 150 power for base melee damage.

don't worry about it. Your probably soon realises like I did that the basic suits have an extra high power slot over those amarr sentinel suits. So Basic is the way to go. Although sentinal suits are cheepers so drop a point in for cheep level one...
