Should I create a chat room for this? It's just a sign of protest. DS (the drunk heavy) has a channel he wants to start up called "Heavies" where heavies can go and talk about fits and what not. If anything people can bounce ideas off each other in there.
Possibly get enough info from people to post actual feedback for CCP to take into consideration. |

Now I'm hearing our proto does less damage than our original standard variant.
I'm deeply saddened by this.
How is a Heavy supposed to defend anything now?
Dust 514 has gone from "RUN it is a HEAVY"
to "RUSH the heavy and get him out of the way so he doesn't take our militia assaults down to half armor"

I have no sympathy... Heavies have ruled Dust since I joined in February. So... What? You have to deal with only a four or five to one kill ratio rather than your usual ten to one? Cry me a river. And for the record, I sometimes suit up as a heavy as a change of pace but I've long felt that heavies are too invulnerable and do too much damage respectively. |

Trust me friend you only feel this way because as you said you "sometimes suit up as a heavy"
Heavies have MAJOR weaknesses. We all know what those are.
We are the biggest (infantry) target
We are the slowest target
We have the lowest scan radius
We have the highest scan profile
HMG was NOT accurate unless you were at mid to close range in which case im watching you step over my body as I turn to dust because you have already taken me out with your superior range and accuracy, got the drop with a shotty scout, or 'naded me to death.
These are only a few weaknesses we faced in chromosome.
Now we have less dmg, less range and are even more out maneuvered than before. |
