Obviously, you don't see me tanking much. Or you'd know I open mostly with blaster and thrash as much as I can on infantry/tanks, falling back when outnumbered or gunned, then I bring in my AT tank and bust it up and switch back.

I have tried them on tanks. Its okay, but the hardener/extenders are more useful imho. I think they shine best on dropships as you can get quick recharge as you dodge av and other ships.
