2. Commandos in 1.8 - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Try Re's. Those are fun. Get everything to lv1: you never know how badass a 25% reload buff is. Plasma cannons, Swarms, those make great 'sidearms' as you have decent tank and then another primary weapon to sling around. Also do not forget the aw...

3. Commandos in 1.8 - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
I currently run commando, and i've been having a blast. In the new patch, they're getting straight up buffs. Shield regen, slot counts, slot layouts, HP, free 10 or 25% damage bonus. For starting out, i would suggest getting lv2 commando, 2 wea...

7. Dumb question... systems hacking? - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
At level 5 systems, you hack at 75% speed. With min logistics 5, you hack at 25% reduced from 75%, so it would be about 66. With 1 complex module (25% i assume) that would be 46-49% hacking speed. Unless i'm stupid and it's 50% from skill bonuses...

Haven't gotten a sniper lolmando to work recently, have you tried mass driver/pasma cannon? Or mas driver/scrambler? One that i like a lot is twin PLC, remote explosives. Commandos can be sideline distance skirmishers though... Swarmie/sniper Nab...

10. Give me a simple tank fitting and skill plan for 500k sp :D - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Don't even attempt noob sets using damage mods. There's a start. Try railgun brawling- aim the dot 'just over' their heads, the round actually aims underneath the dot. One fit i tried (and it worked?) was double light reps, 120m plate, and militia...

12. Quick question about Nanohives. - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
They always last the full duration, but your nanohive is either militia or compact. Those have lower nanite counts and therefore last less time. Grenades take up A TON of nanites as well. Compacts should last around 2 full reloads. But if you thr...
