Does it give you 5% bonus to BASE hack speed or to the mod?
I know it just says hacking speed but thought I'd double check.

Eh, normally if it affects a module it'd say something like "+5% bonus to hacking speed for codebreaker modules per level".
As it doesn't, I would say it affects base speed. |

Question: I'm using a Minnie Logi, if base speed equals 1 with the logi skill I can get to 1.25 hacking speed. By skilling systems hacking to level 5 what speed I get? 1.50 or 1.5625? So the 25% bonus is added to the base speed or do I get 25% more of my already boosted speed? And what speed do I get applying a Complex Codebreaker?

As far as I'm aware, skills are applied to any base numbers first, then modules are added on along with their stacking penalties.

That's a very good question and hard to answer since the game client doesn't give us the final value. As a merc with both Minmatar Logistics 5 and Systems Hacking 5 I think they are both very much worth it and I never bother with codebreaker modules.

Yeah, because of 1.7 changes I had to skill into an ADV Minnie Logi instead of going for my proto Callogi. Always wanted to do it but I was waiting on a respec, now I'm loving my M1 Series and I'm really curious to know where I can push its strenghts

At level 5 systems, you hack at 75% speed.
With min logistics 5, you hack at 25% reduced from 75%, so it would be about 66.
With 1 complex module (25% i assume) that would be 46-49% hacking speed.
Unless i'm stupid and it's 50% from skill bonuses, in which case having 1 module would bring it to 37.5%.
Under 28db
