Easy solution to a lot of these issues: 50% WP penalty for actions inside the redline. That way randoms can still get some points while being obliterated by organized opposition, but the boosters and redline snipers will have an incentive to stick...

On the other hand, that dropship couldn't do squat except spawn people (if it had a CRU). Once it slows down and drops altitude to let the gunners actually shoot something, your swarms would tear it apart.
