Dust isn't going away for a while and will stay the game it is today for as long as the Legion development will take, and then till it's not longer feasible I imagine.

Developing for a console will just end the same way as Dust did. PCs can be upgraded, Consoles can not. PCs don't cost Gé¼1000 anymore, you can get something decent for about Gé¼500, which is the same price as a console.
