You don't have to detonate them anymore? I understand if there is an explosion like an LAV it sets them off, but just running over sets off Remotes? Are you thinking Proximity Explosives? They do minimal damage and hardeners completely voids them.

Tanks aren't THAT bad. AV just needs to be rethought. We need EWAR. Other things like Proxies need to be resurrected to be of some use. It's the lack of these things with the added AV Nerf that has made tanks too powerful, not the tanks themselve...
