Vehicles: -Tanks still need a proper purpose on the battlefield -LAVs are still underused/underrated and pointless -EWAR to even out infantry vs vehicle and vehicle vs vehicle -Dropship WP income still needs work -Small Rails are still useless -Tank vs Tank could use some balancing tweaks -What's the future going to hold for logistics and assault vehicle roles? -WP for using remote reppers and shield transporters -More supply depots
AV: -WP for damaging/disabling vehicles Might be coming soon (minus the Gäó) -Infantry combat needs to be as fun and exciting as tank vs tank -EWAR to even out infantry vs vehicle and vehicle vs vehicle -More anti-shield AV -More heavy AV -Turret instillations need a significant HP buff or should have cyclic deployment -REs and proximity mines are underpowered -Rendering needs to be fixed so swarm launchers can have (somewhat) better range -In game tutorials on proper AV methods for new and veteran players -Plasma Cannon needs an AV identity -More supply depots

I agree the PLC needs something, just not sure what. I will say when you smack a tank with a proto plc with 3 complex damage mods, they usually run for it. Pretty funny watching a big bad tanker running from a PLC..

LAV turret's should have a locking feature for fighting ground vehicles... Where the turret user could lock on a tank and have it assist with the tracking..
Allowing on the edge LAV drivers to kite and gunners to actively spin the turret in a moving vehicle and hit things.
If people need an Aim assist to track slow moving mercenaries.. Why isn't there actual speed up turret tracking of vehicles?
Minmatar tanks with autocannons(like the HMG) for close range... And giant Howitzer Artillery's for long range.
Amarr tanks with Giant beam laser for long range and pulse lasers for short :o
Minmatar, Gallente Heavies... A Heavy variant Laser or Blaster? drools
Caldari, Amarr Scouts... Missile shotgun? Pulse laser close range gun?
Would even be nice to see a Gallente rail technology side arm... so gallente suit bonus's can apply to that too (i know how silly?)
Point is we need the full picture of DUST before we get ahead of ourselfs and waste 3 more patches nerfing and buffing guns. |

There's no reason to spec beyond level 1 besides multiple triggers.
So yes, ADV and PRO are UP as they are the same as STD. Nobody gives a **** about laying more down in one spot.

CCP Remnant has confirmed that they are actually going to see if they can add vehicle damage WP as a hotfix, and if they can't then it will be in 1.7
Also, vehicles already do have a role. It's what I like to call "The Answer".

Its in line with other av. A rail turret popped my proto tank in 2 hits because my blueberry aggroed it while I was reloading. Turrets are great atm.
I like the rest aside from you wanting to buff AV. Av is now symbiotic with vehicles. You need both working in tandem. Infantry dont need to solo tanks anymore. |

Remotes are UP (as AV), you cannot just sneak up to a tank and plant. It'll take at least 4 to kill a decent tank. This means you must be a logi or setting them with friends. You should be able to carry enough or have them scale up in damage to kill a tank in one go.
It shouldn't be 1 RE and blammo tank but 3 (or 4 if you change the carry count) should do it. It's held back by the long time to set this up and the stupidity needed by a tanker. Plus you MUST blow them without hardeners, something that can be difficult when you lose LOS. |

I wouldn't consider the PlC fine. Even at max Profiency and reload skill +PRo your looking at 4secs in between fire...at least. For 110 more shield damage over the AFG, but almost 600 less armor damage.
Adding in the fact of the parabolic trajectory, is a very difficult to use weapon. Forge gun beats it in all categories except it's a light weapon.
Just something small would help it, doesn't necessarily mean a huge damage buff.
You have to buff AV, their is no relationship. Tanks just are superior. Now that doesn't mean you have to buff damage on everything but yes some things need this. You could add more effects, like webifiers/emps, something that could freeze a tank.
Offensively, I agree it should be hard for AV to solo a tank. Defensively, the proper player should have a great shot. |
