281. [Idea] Plasma Charges - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
Well the main point is that it isn't able to do signifigant damage to shields, fitting with the current mythos of plasma being weak against shields (I think). And the longer burn time at the same damage could be feasible, maybe 4 seconds (totaling...

I like it. Could be incorporated into team/squad Tac-Net to actively show enemy position.

285. [Idea] Equpiment for Counter-sniper fitting. - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
The technology would be an array of microphones to pick up the target, and a short range uplink to nearby friendly suits displaying on their HUD the location of the fired shots. Of course, some weapons would be harder to detect than others.

Well, the range would infinite. It would only help friendlies within a certain radius to it. Either omnidirectional or with a feild of view of about 170 degrees (human vision if I remember correctly).

287. [Idea] Equpiment for Counter-sniper fitting. - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
A deployable piece of equipment, similar in function to the Boomerang of today, would be extrememly hand at times. For example, anyone within a 5 meter radius to the device has enemy gunshot positions in a certain direction (envision a megaphone...

288. [Idea] Pulse Cannon - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
This would act as a piece of equipment that has the potential to be used similar to a weapon. It would draw energy from the user's shield, depleting it by an amount proportional to the level of charge, with a maximum of around ~50 hp and a minimum...

289. [Request] More obvious indication of sniper damage - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
Controller vibrations based upon the amount of damage you take. So a single SMG shot on you, a barely perceivable twitch. A snipper round knocking you to within an inch of your life, feedback you can really feel.

291. [Request] Harvester: tag enemies, drain them when they die & buff self - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
I somewhat like this idea, however it would have incredibly limited usage. If it is implemented, anyone who goes down near a few enemies and no triage nearby would suicide to keep from being harvested. Plus, I am not certain that you can see the b...

294. Dropsuit Type Restrictions/Perks - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
Very true. A combination of both perhaps. And these restrictions wouldn't be massive, just enough to be noticeable and keep things interesting. For example, using Assault as a baseline, Scout could be 105% speed for everything, Logistics could be ...

I agree wholeheartedly that it would require a bit of balancing in order to implement them, though I still feel they are something worth looking into. A possible solution to the 'I'm stuck and now I'm dead' dilema would be a maximum range at which...
