I feel that the different dropsuit classes should be more different in terms of how they behave. For example, they already have differing amounts of CPU, PGU, endurance, armor, shield, etc. However, I feel that they are still extremely similar. What I had in mind was specifically directed towards the Heavy class of dropsuits. Considering the massive amount of armor that they are wearing, it would only be logical for them to perform various tasks slower. These include such things as switching weapons, aiming, climbing ladders, pulling up the wrist thing to start a hack, enter/exit vehicles; or in other words, everything that you would expect to be harder to do wearing massive amounts of body armor. Conversely, those in Scout dropsuits, with the least amount of restrictive gear, should be able to do everything slightly faster. Just an idea that I feel would contribute to a more realistic (?) experience. I'd love to hear feedback. |

I think anything related to weapons should pertain to the weapon being used, meaning I should only be slowed down for ADSing if I am using an HMG, not because I was holding an AR in a heavy suit, same goes for switching weapons. As for the other ideas, yes is really all I have to say. |

Very true. A combination of both perhaps. And these restrictions wouldn't be massive, just enough to be noticeable and keep things interesting. For example, using Assault as a baseline, Scout could be 105% speed for everything, Logistics could be 97%, Heavy could be 95%, Pilot (when/if they are added) could be 103% (I'm guessing they won't have too much armor). Maybe creating a value for it (Dropsuit Mobility or something) that lets players know what value their dropsuit is at. |

as i, and an awful lot of other players, posted many times already : One of the first things that should be done is add a bonus to skilling in suits. Atm, those skills only unlock new suits without giving any bonus in anything. When most skills do both.
Those bonus, thout would only be of effect when wearing the specific suit type, could help a lot to build each type's specificity and behavior.
Say :
- assault get +3% light weapon accuracy per level - logi get +3% in various equipment per level (more nano cluster for hives, more respawn for drop uplinks, more RE, faster use of nanites-injector, etc...) or something like +3% hacking time per level - scout get +3% sprint speed per level - heavies get +3% armor/shield HP per level
or else. Could be a lot of possibility.
