Speed and strafing got watered down, aiming seems to be under the hammer too. Why don't we just cut to the chase and convert combat to an ATB system since nobody seems to want Dust to be a FPS.

All weapons need a degree of stopping power. This seems to be a forgotten game mechanic that a strafe shooter like Dust 514 needs. Kinetic based weapons should have the most, and lasers should get the least.
