They do take damage from the ground depending on how hard they hit it, and how uneven it is. They take even more damage colliding with structures especially av barriers. It usually just isn't enough to kill the dropship, and if a dS pilot is good ...

I like this idea, and have expressed similar views on threads relating to e war. I thing augmented vision might be a good counter to cloaks when they come out, as well as mine detectors when mines come out.

I imagine we will get wiped again, as we've been informed that frequent wipes will occur. It's a drag to retrain the same core skills over and over, but I'm willing to pay that price in order to get access to laser rifles, so I hope that makes it ...

I just assume the flight controls get destroyed after 0 armor... And appreciate the bailout time. I think they should have structure buffer before system failures, like they do in eve, but don't terribly mind how it's working right now.

I support a total lockout of the driver seat for any friendly that didn't order the vehicle. (unless they have time to re key the driver seat, basically hacking an empty friendly vehicle, at no sp gain. This ought to give the intended pilot plenty...

It would be cool if the conditions of battle varied even on an identical map because of certain atmospheric conditions. An attacking force often chooses (when possible) conditions that grant them the best chance at surprise. But if it's not a coin...

Lol... I should have spent mine on the caldari one. Want to turn it into a land drake, but I used it on galente hav instead.... It's okay, but active tanking is tricky because the mod wheel isn't very forgiving about which button you release first.
