61. The LAV solution; jetbikes! - in General Discussions [original thread]
free LAVs is fantastic from a game perspective, it allows for quick battlefield mobility. problem is they're just too damn good at running people over, since you receive no damage for roadkills the solution is already planned, sort of. the jetbik...

easy solution; keep the logi lav's survivability but kill its acceleration and top-end speed. it's designed for logistics right? why would it need to be so damn fast?

64. Commando suits, does anyone actually use them? - in General Discussions [original thread]
the idea is neat. a faster moving heavy suit with two light slots instead of a heavy and sidearm the execution doesn't make much sense. here are the downsides to the above listed upsides *it's horribly expensive, 20% price increase on basic suits...

69. * Improved speed of RDV vehicle delivery as well as applied tweaks to the RDV AI - in General Discussions [original thread]
they were probably hesitant because the old system gave "weight" to vehicle call ins, making it feel less like a game, since they took a while to get to you and had to line up the drop but i'd say this new system is worth the slight realism loss

70. Don't forget the email blast, CCP - in General Discussions [original thread]
well, it's two things 1) most don't visit the forums 2) a decent number no longer play, probably waiting on a good update (like this one, the fps boost alone makes 1.2 pretty good) just one email as a reminder should be enough

71. Pilot suit=OP vehicles, stop it before every 1 gets screwed over - in General Discussions [original thread]
look at it this way it means vehicle pilots will clamber all over the pilot suit and neglect all the other suits, and pilot suits will be pretty useless in combat. so they trade any kind of actual battlefield usefulness for being more useful in a...

flaylock as primary is usually for goofy joke builds that don't end up being particularly effective unless you're really good. i just put it as a sidearm with my scram rifle. works great
