Content lock is no more content is allowed in the branch that will be shipped. Additional "content" is locked. Code freeze is the same but in regards to Code. Typically a code freeze happens before a content lock, but basically it's happening at the same time here unless it is bug fixes that are of high priority.

Because the patches are smaller there is less that can or could go wrong so anything that is going to fix 1.2 is going to be mostly done as much as possible via hotfix if not 1.4 for hard code.
