1.7 SCR was OP. Never saw anyone who solely shield tanked. The nerf to SCR was a buff to shield extenders and made cal scouts viable. Otherwise it would be ssdd for cal scouts while the other races scouts would be enjoying the rebirth of the role....

I used to have proto cal assault. At respec, i went back to cal assault 3 & cal scout 4. Hardly ever ran the assault ck.o to begin with, basic gear works just fine for grinding pubs. Think i've been spending more time as assault than scout.
