I agree, but private matches should also be able to be aranged. The creator of the match would chose alliance, corp, private, public, ect. Kinda like the squad finder, The trainer, or something.

I would say the loss of suits if only militia gear would be acceptable, and still grant the experience to new players as a warm and welcoming place to get your face shot off ;)

I would be down with that if it were possible. Given that CCP has to dedicate servers, I would be ok with a corp paying isk to 'reserve' training slots. It's not ideal but if its the only way to get it, I'll take it.

Ok, here's an idea. What if when you join a VR match, the spawn screen changes so that all fits except fully BPO'd suits start as invalid. If you want to use a non BPO suit, you must make it valid by paying the full cost of the fitting, and then recieve unlimited spawns. This would go for vehicles too.
So if I save my pennys and scrounge together 1.5 mil 'spare' isk, I could spend the next four or so matches practicing flying my Incubus much more aggressively, but with the instant loss of ~380k at the beginning of each match.
Basically, this would prevent it from becoming a place for people to infinitely joyride expensive gear just because it's free. |

You could even have carpooling training squads. For example, a vet with a super awesome dropship, (unlike mine,) could offer to teach a squad of prospective ADS pilots, and divide the cost between them. |
