I don't get how people can NOT figure out that this 3x SP event ONLY lasts 1 weekly sp cycle.

"Ends on July 10th downtime" the NEXT Normal weekly reset happens AFTER the downtime on Wednesday July 10th.

Pretty sure the start and end times from previous SP bonus events are from downtime to downtime and it is the same for this Thursday's Triple SP event as well. So, it starts after this Thursday's July 4 downtime (11:30 GMT if no extended downtime) and ends at next Wednesday's July 10 downtime (11:00 GMT).

It is becoming obvious that some people:

a) Have not read the answers from CCP
b) Don't know how to read
c) Didn't get the answer that they wanted. therefore keep asking the same question while expecting a different result.

you should also Address the Other Skill Point Cap of 1WP to 1SP ratio up too 1,000 SP cap. That SP Cap needs to be Tripled also to give us players up too 3,000 SP.

So here are the answers to questionis regarding the triple SP event.

1. The weekly SP cap will reset on Wednesday, July 3rd as usual after DT. If you hit your weekly in the first day then you will still be eligible for the extended SP cap for the event on Thursday. For example, if the weekly SP cap was 1000 and you hit the cap on Wednesday before the event starts, then on Thursday we will extend the weekly SP cap to 3000 so you will have an extra 2000 added to your weekly SP cap for the event. Of course, the number I used in the example is just an arbitray number and not the actual SP cap amounts in order to illustrate the point.

2. The passive SP gain and caps are not part of the triple SP event, so they will work normally.

3. Your extra SP earned from skill boosters do not count towards your weekly SP cap. For more info on that go to https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=74943&find=unread

In other words, you won't miss out on earning any extra skill points from the Triple SP event if you hit your weekly cap this Wednesday.

So, I play all day Wednesday and cap out.

I... I'm pretty sure "3x SP" means 3x to earned SP, with the booster being added on normally on top of that.
Like the SP from the booster is already tripled, because the earned SP it comes from is tripled.

I don't think CCP is giving us a tripling of SP and a tripling of our multiplier.

1) If I cap and get ~300k (w/ booster) on wednesday
will i still get 900k on thursdays even if i dont play for the rest of the week?

2) Or will I get more sp if i play starting wednesday or just wait for sp event?
(this is provided I play the same number of hours)

3)true or false ? i can get 300k sp on wednesday "plus" 900k sp thursday to tuesday

So essentially the cap will be quadrupled on Thursday and we all get 3 times as much per match?

OK, I am VERY clear on the 3x SP cap dealy after reading and re-reading and re-reading all the explanations on here. But I would just love it if CCP could chime in on what happens after the cap. Are we still getting 3x on the active boosters? I need to know. Some of us have lives we need to make up excuses for so we can grind all week. Enough of this speculation. Or is this part of the meta-game too?!? Thanks in advance.
