they add 2x your cap to your claimable SP for the week on thursday


you get 3x your original cap weather or not you play weds or not.

when the cap resets again just after the event they dont add more SP to your unclaimed reserves and therefore there arnt any


they have changed how they do these events on the backend to prevent this and other issues that were had in the past.

But reset is Wednesday and the event ends Thursday..?

If i recall the problem last time was when they said "Ends this day" It's not clear if they mean once that day Starts or once that day Ends. So yes, we don't know still. This is why time zones/timestamps clear all sorts of mess up around such issues.

If they said, for example, "Triple SP will not be earned a moment past 7AM EDT on Wednesday the 10th" then it all makes sense.

But saying something ends "Wednesday". is like the English problem of indicating something happens "next weekend" vs "This weekend". Do they meant at the end of Wednesday AKA midnight

So here are the answers to questionis regarding the triple SP event.

1. The weekly SP cap will reset on Wednesday, July 3rd as usual after DT. If you hit your weekly in the first day then you will still be eligible for the extended SP cap for the event on Thursday. For example, if the weekly SP cap was 1000 and you hit the cap on Wednesday before the event starts, then on Thursday we will extend the weekly SP cap to 3000 so you will have an extra 2000 added to your weekly SP cap for the event. Of course, the number I used in the example is just an arbitray number and not the actual SP cap amounts in order to illustrate the point.

2. The passive SP gain and caps are not part of the triple SP event, so they will work normally.

Pretty sure the start and end times from previous SP bonus events are from downtime to downtime and it is the same for this Thursday's Triple SP event as well. So, it starts after this Thursday's July 4 downtime (11:30 GMT if no extended downtime) and ends at next Wednesday's July 10 downtime (11:00 GMT).

If I understand correctly, we'll also recieve triple the bonus from active boosters, so the amount that I earned on Wednesday wouldn't affect my base cap earnings, but if I had earned those points on Thursday I would have had triple the boosted points, so I should save all my points until the event so that they all get x3 boosted. Am I totally off?

There is no need to save your skill points. The total skill points you can earn from this event with or without a skll booster will not be affected by the skill points earned on Wednesday. You will simply earn skill points faster starting on Thursday.

I don't get how people can NOT figure out that this 3x SP event ONLY lasts 1 weekly sp cycle.

Last triple SP event I capped out the main weeks 900k SP, then on the wed after the downtime I capped out another 900k in one day, took me 12hrs and a half liter of vodka
